Mont-Élie
Mont-Élie is an unorganized territory in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada. It makes up almost 38% of the Charlevoix-Est Regional County Municipality. The territory is home to the Grands-Ormes Ecological Reserve and part of the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park. It is named after Mount Élie that in turn was named after Elijah. Nearby are other mountains and lakes named after Biblical prophets, such as Moses and Jeremiah. Mount Élie () is one of the main summits of the mountainous highland in the east of the Charlevoix region. With an altitude of , it provides a great view of the vast surroundings and was formerly used as a location for fire watch. Its western slope forms the eastern boundary of the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park, whereas its eastern side is part of Zec du Lac-au-Sable. Zec du Lac-au-Sable is a "zone d'exploitation contrôlée" (controlled harvesting zone) (zec) located in the unorganized territory of Mont-Élie, in Charlevoix-Est Regional County Municipality, in administrative region of Capitale-Nationale, Quebec, Canada. Clermont () is a ''ville'' in the Canadian province of Quebec, and the seat of government for the Charlevoix-Est Regional County Municipality. It is located on the southern banks of the Malbaie River. History Around 1800, the first settlers moved into the area, living primarily of agriculture. Followed by a saw and flour mill, tradeshops, and stores, a settlement grew that was then known as Chute Nairne. Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs () is a municipality in the Capitale-Nationale region of Quebec, Canada. Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs is primarily dependent on vacationers and cottagers that support its tourism industry. History Settlement began in the 1820s, with the first residents settling around Lake Sainte-Marie (or "Petit Lac"), living as farmers, craftsmen, or forest workers. The area was originally incorporated as part of the Parish Municipality of Sainte-Agnès in 1855. L'Anse-Saint-Jean (), French for "The Cove of Saint John" is a municipality in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec, Canada. Its population was 1,301 in the Canada 2021 Census. The Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie National Park (, ) is a provincial park in the Charlevoix region of Quebec, Canada. La Malbaie
La Malbaie () is a municipality in the Charlevoix-Est Regional County Municipality in the Province of Quebec, Canada, situated on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River at the mouth of the Malbaie River. It was formerly known as Murray Bay. La Malbaie is the seat of the judicial district of Charlevoix. Although the main business district is located at the mouth of the Malbaie River, the town itself covers a vast area that extends inland along both sides of the Malbaie River and north and south along the St. Lawrence River. Baie-Sainte-Catherine () is a town in Quebec, Canada. The municipal's territory extends along the Saguenay and Saint Lawrence rivers, whereas the town itself is on the small St. Catherine Bay, which is located at the confluence of these two rivers. Its elevation is 260 feet. It is the west terminus of the ''Baie-Ste-Catherine'' / ''Tadoussac'' ferry, which offers free and frequent service across the Saguenay River to Tadoussac.
