Geography Located in the northeastern corner of the county, it borders the following townships: * Linton Township, Coshocton County - north * Knox Township, Guernsey County - east * Adams Township, Guernsey County - southeast corner * Highland Township - south * Salem Township - southwest corner * Adams Township - west * Franklin Township, Coshocton County - northwest corner No municipalities are located in Monroe Township. A gristmill (also: grist mill, corn mill, flour mill, feed mill or feedmill) grinds cereal grain into flour and Wheat middlings, middlings. James Monroe
James Monroe ( ; April 28, 1758July 4, 1831) was an American statesman, lawyer, diplomat, and Founding Father who served as the fifth president of the United States from 1817 to 1825.
