Monica Nordquist
Eva Gun Monica Nordquist Graffman (born ''Nordquist'' 3 February 1941 in Bromma, Stockholm - 24 June 2017) was a Swedish actress, well known for her roles as Madicken's mother and Fia's mother in the 1973 TV series ''Den vita stenen''. All those films are directed by her partner Göran Graffman. Nordquist finished in second place in VeckoRevyn's Miss Sweden-competition in 1958 and qualified for the Miss Europe-competition. Madicken is a fictional character created by the Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. Madicken appeared in six books, two films — '' Du är inte klok Madicken'' (1979) (''You're out of your mind, Maggie'') and ''Madicken på Junibacken'' (1980) (''Meg of June Hill'') — and a TV series (1979). ''Du är inte klok Madicken'' is about a 7-year-old middle class girl, during World War I. The follow-up movie ''Madicken på Junibacken'' from 1980 is edited from various episodes of the TV production "Madicken" which screened in 1980. ''Den vita stenen'' ("The White Stone") is a 1964 Swedish children's book written by Gunnel Linde. In 1965, Linde received the Nils Holgersson Plaque for this book. In 1973, a TV version of the story was produced. Plot The book takes place in a village in the Swedish countryside during the 1930s. Fia and her mother Mrs Pettersson, a piano teacher, live in the big house of the village's "häradshövding" (a countryside local judge/lawspeaker), where the bad-tempered housekeeper Malin lives. Göran Graffman
Eric Göran Graffman (12 February 1931 – November 2014) was a Sweden, Swedish actor and film director from Gothenburg). He was the father of the actor Per Graffman, the director Emil Graffman and Mats Graffman. Graffman worked as actor at Gothenburg City Theatre since the 1950s, and, in 1967, he started working at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. He began directing films in the 1970s. Biography Göran Graffman was the son of the Courts of appeal in Sweden, Court of Appeal lawyer Gösta Graffman and Gunhild Josephson. After graduating in Sigtuna in 1950, he attended the Gothenburg City Theatre's student school 1951–1954. Miss Europe is a beauty pageant for European women from all over Europe. It was established in February 1927 by Fanamet, the European distributor of Paramount, as a one-off event where the winner was to star in a film directed by Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau.
