Mona Kasra
Mona Kasra is a media artist, projection designer, and interdisciplinary scholar. She is Associate Professor of Digital Media Design at the University of Virginia. Personal life An Iranian-American, Kasra was born and raised in Tehran. Kasra was involved with the Iranian Women's Right's Movement (Campaign of One Million Signatures) in 2006. She holds a PhD in Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as an MFA in Video/Digital art and a BA in Graphic Design. Collage (, from the french: coller, "to glue" or "to stick together";) is a technique of art creation, primarily used in the visual arts, but in music too, by which art results from an Assemblage (art), assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. Tehran (; fa, تهران ) is the largest city in Tehran Province and the capital of Iran.
