Mona De Grenoble
Mona de Grenoble is the stage name of Alexandre Aussant, a Canadian drag queen from Montreal, Quebec.Bruno Lapointe"Drag-queens du Québec: «J’ai toujours fait ce que j’avais envie de faire», dit Mona de Grenoble" ''Le Journal de Montréal'', August 4, 2023. She is most noted as the winner of the third season of '' Big Brother Célébrités''. Originally from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Aussant performs in a camp drag style, with her performances based around stand-up comedy rather than dancing or lip syncing. In 2019 she launched Provocante, a biweekly stand-up comedy night at Cabaret Mado. In 2022 she premiered ''Mes premières chaleurs'', her first full-length solo comedy show, at Montreal's Zoofest festival for emerging comedians. A drag queen is a person, usually male, who uses drag clothing and makeup to imitate and often exaggerate female gender signifiers and gender roles for entertainment purposes. ''Canada's Drag Race'' is a Canadian reality competition television series based on the American series ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' and is the Canadian edition of the ''Drag Race'' franchise, produced by Blue Ant Studios.
