Albert Moll (German Psychiatrist)
Albert Moll (; 4 May 1862, Lissa – 23 September 1939, Berlin) was a neurologist, psychologist, sexologist, and ethicist. Alongside Iwan Bloch and Magnus Hirschfeld, he is considered the founder of medical psychology and sexology. Although Moll was a pioneer of sexology, his contemporaries such as Magnus Hirschfeld and Sigmund Freud eclipsed his work, primarily due to the bitter rivalry between them. Moll believed sexual nature involved two entirely distinct parts: sexual stimulation and sexual attraction. Biography Born in Lissa (then part of Prussia) to a Jewish tradesman, Moll attended Catholic school in the Silesian city of Glogau before studying medicine in Breslau, Freiburg, Jena, and Berlin. Maximilien Joseph Moll (14 October 1813 – 16 June 1849) was a German labour leader and revolutionary. He was a pioneer of the German labour movement and a figure in early German socialism. Moll was an early associate of Karl Marx. Early life Joseph Maximilian Moll was born in Cologne on October 14, 1813. He was born into a poor working-class family and was apprenticed as a watchmaker. After his apprenticeship Moll travelled widely across Europe in search of work, as was customary for tradesmen at the time. On these travels he made contact with a number of German workers' associations, which exposed him to radical political and economic ideas. Young Germany In 1834 he joined the secret society 'Young Germany' in Switzerland. Victor Hugo Moll (born 1956) is a Chilean American mathematician specializing in calculus. Moll studied at the Universidad Santa Maria and at the New York University with a master's degree in 1982 and a doctorate in 1984 with Henry P. Toby Moll
Tobias "Toby" Mortimer Moll (20 July 1890 – 15 July 1916) was a South African rugby union player from Cape Town. He was awarded a single cap for on 27 August 1910, against the British Isles team on its 1910 tour of South Africa. He played for Randfontein RFC, Transvaal, and Western Province. In the First World War, he first served with the South African forces in the South West Africa Campaign, then travelled to England where he joined the 9th Battalion Royal Leicestershire Regiment as a Second Lieutenant. He was hit by shrapnel during the Battle of Bazentin Ridge and died from his wounds the following day. He is buried at Méricourt-l'Abbé Cemetery. Marg Moll (born Margarethe Haeffner; 2 August 1884 – 15 March 1977) was a German sculptor, painter and author. Otto Hermann Wilhelm Moll (4 March 1915 – 28 May 1946) was an SS non-commissioned officer who committed numerous atrocities at the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Second World War. Oskar Moll (21 July 1875, Brieg – 19 August 1947, Berlin) was a German Fauvist painter; best known for his landscapes, portraits and somewhat abstract still-lifes. Louis-Joseph Moll
Louis-Joseph Moll (August 24, 1816 – August 5, 1872) was a physician and political figure in Quebec. He represented Berthier in the Legislative Assembly of Quebec from 1867 to 1871 as a Conservative. He was born in Notre-Dame de Montréal, Lower Canada, the son of Jean-Marie Moll and Catherine-Louise Finchley, and was educated at the Collège de Montréal and the University of Pennsylvania. In 1841, he married Marie-Joséphine-Valérie, the daughter of Joseph Bondy, dit Douaire. He returned to Quebec in 1845 and entered the practice of medicine at Berthier.
