Sam Moll
Samuel John Moll (born January 3, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Oakland Athletics of Major League Baseball (MLB). The Colorado Rockies selected Moll in the third round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut in 2017. Career Amateur Moll attended St. Benedict at Auburndale High School in Cordova, Tennessee. He enrolled at the University of Memphis and played college baseball for the Memphis Tigers. In 2012, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Brewster Whitecaps of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Colorado Rockies The Colorado Rockies selected Moll in the third round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The Albuquerque Isotopes are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Modesto Nuts
The Modesto Nuts are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners. They are located in Modesto, California, and are named for the several types of nuts grown in the region. They play their home games at John Thurman Field, which opened in 1955.
