Mohsen Rezaee (taekwondo)
Mohsen Rezaee (born 30 January 1998) is an Afghan taekwondo practitioner and member of the national taekwondo team in Afghanistan. Career He is the first person in Afghanistan's history to become the Asian champion, and the best Taekwondo fighter in Afghanistan for three years in succession. Mohsen Rezaee had been become a member of 'CAN Home appliances team' in Iran premier league in 2018, and he fought for the 'Refugee Taekwondo athletes center team' in Iran premier league in 2019, moreover he made an official deal with 'Sanat Mes Kerman' in Iran premier league for two years in 2020. In addition, he became the Asian champion in 2021. This championship took place in Lebanon while this is the first championship of an Afghan athlete in Asia, so that no one in Afghanistan couldn't win such Asian gold medal among all Olympic sport fields so far. Asian Games
The Asian Games, also known as Asiad, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from all over Asia. The Games were regulated by the Asian Games Federation (AGF) from the first Games in New Delhi, India, until the 1978 Games. The 2022 Asian Games (), officially known as the 19th Asian Games (), also known as Hangzhou 2022, ( zh, c=杭州2022, p=Hángzhōu Èr líng èr èr), will be a multi-sport event celebrated in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. Kamia Yousufi
Kamia Yousufi ( fa, کیمیا یوسفی; born 20 May 1996 in Mashhad, Iran) is an Afghan female sprinter. Her parents are originally from Kandahar. Career She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in the women's 100 metres, where she finished in 22nd place in the preliminary round with a time of 14.02 seconds, a national record. She did not advance to round 1. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, Yousufi and Farzad Mansouri carried Afghanistan's flag at the Opening Ceremony. Competing at the 100 metres she finished sixth in the first preliminary heat running a time of 13.29 seconds, which was a new personal best and a national record. In August 2021, as the 2021 Taliban offensive overran the country, Yousufi fled to Iran. 2022 Asian Games Opening Ceremony
The 2022 Asian Games opening ceremony was held on 23 September 2023, at the Hangzhou Sports Park Stadium in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The ceremony began at 8:00 PM China Standard Time ( UTC+8) and finished at 10:15 PM local time, lasting two hours. Background The 2022 Asian Games ceremony was choreographed by Sha Xiaolan (沙曉蘭), who was one of assistant directors to Zhang Yimou during the opening and closing ceremonies production unit. The ceremony reutilised the World's Largest LED Mesh Screen provided by Zhongrun Optoelectronics with an area equivalent to 9 IMAX giant screens.
