Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daeri
Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daeri (born 1965) is a Yemeni military officer and the minister of defense; he was appointed to this position on 28 July 2022 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant general. He previously served as deputy head of the Yemeni military joint operations. Early life and education Mohsen Al-Daeri was born in 1965 in Al-Shoayb, a village in Jahaf District in Dhale Governorate. He received his basic and primary education in Al-Dhale governorate. He pursued his high education in Lahj governorate. The Ministry of Defense is (MoD; Arabic: وزارة الدفاع) is a government ministry of Yemen that is responsible for the Yemen Armed Forces. The current minister of defense is Lt. Gen. Dhale ( ar, الضالع ') is one of the Yemeni governorates that was created after the unification of Yemen. Rashad Muhammad al-Alimi (born 1954) is a Yemeni politician currently serving as the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council since 7 April 2022. Biography Rashad al-Alimi was born in 1954 in Al-Aloom, a village in the Taiz Governorate, and is the son of judge Mohammed ben Ali al-Alimi. He graduated from Gamal Abdel Nasser High School in Sanaa in 1969. Lieutenant General
Lieutenant general (Lt Gen, LTG and similar) is a three-star military rank (NATO code OF-8) used in many countries. The rank traces its origins to the Middle Ages, where the title of lieutenant general was held by the second-in-command on the battlefield, who was normally subordinate to a captain general. In modern armies, lieutenant general normally ranks immediately below general and above major general; it is equivalent to the navy rank of vice admiral, and in air forces with a separate rank structure, it is equivalent to air marshal. Lahij
Lahij or Lahej ( ar, لحج, Laḥj, links=no), also called al-Hawtah, is a city and an area located between Ta'izz and Aden in Yemen. From the 18th to the 20th century, its rulers were of the Abdali branch of the Al-Sallami tribe who trace their lineage to one of the 10 tribes of Yaffa called Kalad. Lahij was the capital city of Sultanate of Lahej, a protectorate of the British Empire until 1967, when the sultan was expelled and the city became a part of People's Republic of South Yemen. Aden ( ar, عدن ' Yemeni: ) is a city, and since 2015, the temporary capital of Yemen, near the eastern approach to the Red Sea (the Gulf of Aden), some east of the strait Bab-el-Mandeb. History The foundation of the College of Education in 1970 and Nasser’s College for Agricultural Sciences in 1972 was the launching point of the University of Aden.
