Mohammed Feiter Building is a building built in the early 20th century on Istanbul Street, Alexandria, Egypt. It is close to Cavafy Museum and Eliyahu Hanavi Synagogue. It was built by a Greek resident of Egypt. It was sold to Mohammed Feiter, a tenant of the building, in 1965, following the Egyptian Greek Exodus from Egypt. The facade was rebuilt by Mohammed Feiter, partially inspired by Italian architecture and Harrods Harrods Limited is a department store located on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London, England. It is currently owned by the state of Qatar via its sovereign wealth fund, the Qatar Investment Authority. The Harrods brand also applies to other ..., the department store in London. The building is decorated with Mohammed Feiter's initials, "M. F". The building is currently managed by a son of Mohammed Feiter and contains an antique store. A villa is a type of house that was originally an ancient Roman upper class country house. Since its origins in the Roman villa, the idea and function of a villa have evolved considerably. Alexandria

Cavafy Museum
Cavafy Museum is an apartment museum in center Alexandria, Egypt, which formerly was the residence of the Greek poet Constantine P. Cavafy, where he lived most of his life. Location The apartment is located near Cairo Opera House (Fouad St.), in Attarin division, Alexandria. The street name was ''Lepsius'' during Cavafy's life; it was renamed ''Sharm El Sheikh'', then after the museum was opened, the narrow and short street became ''Cavafy Street'', which is quite close to two of the city's most important streets, Fouad St. and Safiya Zaghloul St. Opening The museum started as an initiative approached by Kostis Moskof, who was the cultural attaché at the Greek Embassy in Cairo, and then by the support of businessman G. Eliyahu Hanavi Synagogue
Eliyahu Hanavi Synagogue is a synagogue in Alexandria, Egypt built in the Neo-Gothic style. It is located in Nabi Daniel street. An earlier synagogue was built on the site in 1354, but was bombed and destroyed by the French during their invasion of Egypt in 1798. A new synagogue, the current building, began construction in 1850 with contributions from the Muhammad Ali Dynasty. It is included on the World Monuments Fund's 2018 list of monuments at risk. Although services are still held in the synagogue, it now caters to a very small community due to the dwindling number of Jews in Alexandria. The synagogue was closed for the 5773 (2012) High Holidays because of security reasons. In 2017, the Egyptian government announced a project to restore the synagogue in a growing move of keeping its Jewish heritage alive.
