Mohammad Tauqir
Mohammad Tauqir ( ar, توقير محمد; born 14 January 1972) is an Emirati cricketer. He is a UAE national. He is a lower order batsman and off-spin bowler, he played his first game for UAE in the final of 1996 ACC Trophy (batting at 11 and not bowling). He has been part of the UAE team in the last three ICC Trophys and last six ACC Trophys. His best bowling performance came against Japan with 6–10 off 10 overs in the 2000 ACC Trophy. His two One Day Internationals came when UAE played in the 2004 Asia Cup they lost by 116 runs to both India and Sri Lanka, Tauqir scored 55 against India. In 2004 he also played in the Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes. He made his Twenty20 International debut against Scotland in the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier tournament on 9 July 2015. Twenty20 International
A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019. Ryan Campbell
Ryan John Campbell (born 7 February 1972) is an Australian former cricketer who represented both Australia and Hong Kong internationally. He is the current head coach of the Dutch national team, having taken on the role in April 2017. Campbell was born in Perth. He made his debut for Western Australia during the 1995–96 season, and initially played as a specialist batsman, with Adam Gilchrist keeping wicket. He later replaced Gilchrist as wicket-keeper following his elevation to the national team in the late 1990s. Having first played for Australia A during the 1997–98 season, Campbell made his ODI debut in January 2002, against New Zealand. His only other appearance at that level came in December of the same year, against Sri Lanka. He was substituting for Gilchrist on both occasions. 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier
The 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier, for the 2016 World Twenty20, was held from 6 to 26 July 2015. The tournament was hosted by both Ireland and Scotland. 51 matches were played among 14 nations, down from 72 matches among 16 nations previously. The tournament formed part of the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier series, with the top six teams going forward to the qualifying round of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 tournament. Matches where both teams had T20I status were recorded as a Twenty20 International match. Hong Kong International Cricket Sixes
The Hong Kong Cricket Sixes is a Six-a-side international cricket tournament held at the Kowloon Cricket Club comprising between eight and twelve teams. Organised by Cricket Hong Kong, it is sanctioned by the International Cricket Council. The tournament is designed for television viewing, with rules and a venue that encourage aggressive batting and high scoring. Because every player (except the wicket-keeper) is required to bowl one over, the format suits all-rounders. All editions of the tournament have been held at the Kowloon Cricket Club except for the 1996 and 1997 editions which were held at the Hong Kong Stadium. Off Spin
Off spin is a type of finger spin bowling in cricket. A bowler who uses this technique is called an off spinner. Off spinners are right arm, right-handed spin bowling, spin bowlers who use their fingers to spin the ball.
