Mohamed Sylla (footballer, Born 1993)
Mohamed Sylla (born 1 December 1921) is a French professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Dundee. Career Born in Paris, Sylla began his career with L'Entente SSG, where he made over 100 appearances before signing with English club Oldham Athletic in January 2019. He made his debut on 12 January 2019, in a League match against Forest Green Rovers. He returned to France in June 2020 to sign for Laval. On 30 October 2021, Sylla joined National League side Aldershot Town, and went onto score on his debut later that day, during a 2–1 away defeat to Barnet. In the 2021–22 season, Sylla made 32 appearances in all competitions for Aldershot, scoring twice. Additionally, he also won the club's player of the year award. On 4 August 2022, Sylla signed a one-year deal at League Two club Hartlepool United. On 1 January 2023, he scored his first goal for Hartlepool in a 3–3 draw with Harrogate Town. John Askey
John Colin Askey (born 4 November 1964) is an English professional football manager and former player who was most recently the manager of club York City. He is the son of former Port Vale player Colin Askey. Able to play as a winger or as a striker, he had pace and intelligence. A former youth-team player at Port Vale, he joined Macclesfield Town from Milton United in 1984. During his time at the club Macclesfield spent six seasons in the Football League and won the Northern Premier League title in 1986–87, the Football Conference title in 1994–95 and 1996–97, and promotion out of the Third Division in 1997–98. The Championnat de France National ( en, French National Championship), commonly referred to as simply National or Division 3, serves as the third division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Contested by 18 clubs, the Championnat National operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Ligue 2 and the Championnat National 2, the fourth division of French football. The 2016–17 Championnat de France Amateur was the 19th season of the fourth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition was contested by 64 clubs split geographically across 4 groups of 16 teams each. The teams included amateur clubs (although a few are semi-professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. Teams There were twelve teams promoted from Championnat de France amateur 2, while ten teams were relegated from the 2014–15 Championnat de France amateur. Two teams came from the 2014–15 Ligue 2 and 2014–15 Championnat National, which are AC Arles-Avignon and US Colomiers Football respectively. The original plan was to have CA Bastia, FC Istres and SAS Épinal also relegated from the Championnat National, but due to DNCG and/or FFF rulings, the following clubs were relegated to lower divisions: AC Arles-Avignon (demoted from Ligue 2), Vendée Poiré-sur-Vie Football (resigned to join CFA 2) and FC Istres (demoted to 6th level).
