Mohamed Nagy Ismail Afash (Arabic script: ); born 30 October 1984), known by his nickname Gedo (, , which means ''Grandpa'' in Egyptian Arabic), is an Egyptian footballer who plays for National Bank of Egypt in the Egyptian Premier League, as well as Egypt national team. Club career Early career Born in Damanhur, Beheira, Gedo started his career at Hosh Essa youth centre. When he was 17, he joined Ala'ab Damanhour, a club in the Egyptian Second Division, before joining Al-Ittihad Al-Sakndary in 2005.
