Mohamed Abdi Ware
Mohamed Abdi Ware ( so, Maxamed Cabdi Waare; born 14 February 1960) is a Somali politician. He was the president of Hirshabelle, assumed office on 16 September 2017. Biography Waare hails from the Yabar Madaxweyne sub-clan of Xawaadle, and was born in the Jowhar, Middle Shabelle which at that time in 1960 was part of Banadir region. Mohamed Abdi Ware received his primary education in Halgan village in Bulo-Burte District, and completed his secondary education in Hodan District in Mogadishu. He received Diploma in Agriculture Extension Services from ndiana University Bloomingtone was one of the diploma trainee sent to the United States to boost the country's agricultural services. He joined the government when he graduated from Afgooye Agricultural High School in 1979. He worked for the Ministry of Agriculture for 10 years, and was the agricultural coordinator for Middle Shabelle and Hiran regions. Ferfer
Ferfer is a town in the Ethiopian Somali Regional State, on the border with the Somali Hiran region (Beledweyne District). The town straddles the disputed 1950's-era Provisional Administrative Line (as depicted on virtually all worldwide maps, atlases, and geographic websites) that separates the Ogaden region of Ethiopia from Somalia, and has a latitude and longitude of with an elevation of 230 meters above sea level. During the first three months of 1964, heavy fighting took place between Ethiopia and Somalia at several border points in the Ogaden, one of which was Ferfer. Ferfer was among the locations within Ethiopia that were still under Somali control after Somalia's defeat in the Ogaden War of 1977/78. The Ethiopian army maintains an important base in Ferfer. Adale ( so, Cadale; it, Adalei or Itala), also known as Cadaley, is a coastal town in the southern Middle Shabelle (Shabeellaha Dhexe) region of Somalia. History Adale was mentioned in the Periplus of the Erythraean Sea, written by an anonymous writer who lived in the first century AD when Egypt was occupied by the Romans. Adale then appeared in the reports of Ibn Batuta and other explorers from Andulus. When the trade between East Africa, Arabia, and India boomed in the 1700s-1800s, Adale became the farthest point of the 10-mile strip of the Benadir Coast in which Zanzibar’s Omani rulers claimed. Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed ( so, Cabdulaahi Yuusuf Axmed, ar, عبدالله يوسف أحمد; 15 December 1934 – 23 March 2012) was a Somali politician and former colonel in the Somali National Army. He was one of the founders of the Somali Salvation Democratic Front, as well as the Puntland State of Somalia, the latter of which he served as the first president. In 2004, Ahmed also helped establish the Transitional Federal Government, which he led as President of Somalia from 2004 until 2008. Personal life Abdullahi Yusuf was born on 15 December 1934 in Galkayo, situated in the north-central Mudug region of Somalia. The city was at the time part of Italian Somaliland.
