Mogens Christiansen
Mogens Stenumgaard Christiansen (born 10 January 1972) is a former Danish cricketer. Christiansen was a left-handed batsman. He was born at Herning. Christiansen first played for Denmark Under-19s in the 1991 International Youth Tournament, making two appearances against Bermuda Under-19s and Ireland Under-19s. He made his senior debut for Denmark in the 1994 ICC Trophy, playing four matches against Bermuda, Israel, Malaysia and Namibia. His next appearance for Denmark came against the Somerset Second XI in 1997. His next appearance after this came in August 2001, when he played a List A match against Suffolk in the 1st round of English domestic cricket's 2002 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, which was played in 2001 to avoid fixture congestion in 2002. . Minor Counties Of English And Welsh Cricket
The National Counties, known as the Minor Counties before 2020, are the cricketing counties of England and Wales that do not have first-class status. The game is administered by the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA), which comes under the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). There are currently twenty teams in National Counties cricket: nineteen representing historic counties of England, plus the Wales National County Cricket Club. Copdock
Copdock is a village and former civil parish in county of Suffolk, south-eastern England. In 1961 the civil parish had a population of 399. Location Copdock is south-west of Ipswich. It is located on the former A12 road (now designated as the C475), which was blocked off at Whights Corner after the construction of the Copdock Interchange and the A14 road Ipswich bypass. Old London Road is a cricket ground in Copdock, Suffolk. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1847, when the Gentlemen of Suffolk played the Gentlemen of Norfolk. The ground hosted its first Minor Counties Championship match in 1992 when Suffolk played Norfolk. From 1992 to 2006, the ground hosted 5 Minor Counties Championship matches and 8 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches, the last of which saw Suffolk play Norfolk. The 2002 Cheltenham and Gloucester Trophy was an English limited overs county cricket tournament which was held between 29 August 2001 and 31 August 2002. It was the second Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy, following its change of name from the NatWest Trophy. The tournament was won by Yorkshire who defeated Somerset by 6 wickets in the final at Lord's.
