Mogamul
''Mogamul'' is a 1995 Tamil language film directed by Gnana Rajasekaran based on a novel written by Thi. Janakiraman. The film stars Archana Joglekar, Nedumudi Venu and Abhishek, while Vivek and Vennira Aadai Moorthy play supporting roles. The score and soundtrack were composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film opened in May 1995 to critical acclaim. Plot A musician falls in love with a woman who is the illegitimate daughter of a Brahmin from his village. But she refuses to accept him since she is 10 years older to him. Gnana Rajasekaran
Gnana Rajasekaran (born 23 January 1953) is an Indian filmmaker, screenwriter, playwright and Retired Indian Administrative Service, IAS Officer. His directional debut was ''Mogamul'' (1994) won the Indira Gandhi Award for Best Debut Film of a Director. His other works include ''Bharathi (2000 film), Bharathi'' (2000), ''Periyar (2007 film), Periyar'' (2007) and Ramanujan (film), ''Ramanujan'' (2014). As of 2014, Rajasekaran has won three National Film Awards, three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. His films have been screened at international film festivals including the International Film Festival of India. Abhishek Shankar
Abhishek Shankar is an Indian Tamil film and television actor who has worked on films and serials. Career Abhishek made his debut as an actor with Gnana Rajasekaran's critically acclaimed drama film ''Mogamul'' (1995), playing a leading role alongside Archana Joglekar. Unable to sustain a career in films, he switched over to television in 1999 after Ekta Kapoor offered him a role in her new serial, ''Kudumbam''. He subsequently assisted her in the production of the Tamil television series, as well as portraying a comedy role. He went on to work on nearly forty more serials and rose to prominence, portraying the character Bhaskaran in the serial, ''Kolangal''. Thangar Bachan (born 1961) is an Indian film director and actor, cinematographer and novelist. He has served as jury member in National Film Awards. Vennira Aadai Moorthy
Vennira Aadai Moorthy (born 25 July 1936) is an Indian actor and comedian in Tamil cinema. He has starred in many Tamil films and television serials as a comedian and also played supporting roles. He is a lawyer by education, and holds a B.L. degree in addition to a PhD in astrology. He is married to actress Manimala who played Suhasini's mother in '' Sindhu Bhairavi'' and the heroine in ''Vallavanukku Vallavan'' (1965). He is also a well known script-writer. Archana Joglekar
Archana Joglekar is an Indian actress and classical dancer. She has acted in Marathi, Odia and Hindi films and television serials. Some of her noted films are ''Sansaar'' (Hindi), ''Eka Peksha Ek'' (Marathi) and ''Anapekshit'' (Marathi). She is a Kathak dancer and choreographer. She was trained in Kathak by her mother, Asha Joglekar, a Kathak danseuse and instructor. In 1963, her mother founded a dance school in Mumbai called ''Archana Nrityalaya''. In 1999, Joglekar opened a branch of this dance school in New Jersey, US.Archana Joglekar Dance Academy: How Archana Joglekar made Kathak a global art form.

Arunmozhi ( ta, அருண்மொழி) (also called Napoleon Selvaraj) (born 1951) is an Indian playback singer and well-known flutist. He has sung songs composed by leading Indian film industry music directors, including Ilaiyaraaja, Shankar Ganesh, Deva, S. A.
