History

Modwheelmood formed in 1998, initially as a project entitled Gift?, which later developed into a full music project after Cortini's experimentation with "heavy loops and haunting synth passes integrated with melodic songwriting" and through collaboration with Hillström. Modwheelmood are named after the mod wheel, a controller typically mounted on the left hand of the keyboard.

Yoav (musician)
Yoav (born Yoav Sadan on October 15, 1979, in Tel Aviv, Israel) is a singer-songwriter of Israeli-Romanian descent, raised in South Africa. His debut album ''Charmed and Strange'' was released in early 2008. Yoav's music features his own vocals and accompaniment by an acoustic guitar, which he uses to create electronica-style beats with his hands. He has also released two singles, "Club Thing" and "Beautiful Lie", the former having some success and charting in countries around Europe. His song "Adore Adore" was also featured in "Redwood", an episode of ''The Mentalist''. He also had a version of his cover song of "Where Is My Mind?" featured in the 2011 film ''Sucker Punch'', which starred actress and singer Emily Browning. Ladytron
Ladytron are a largely British electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999. The group consists of Helen Marnie (lead vocals, synthesizers), Mira Aroyo (vocals, synthesizers), Daniel Hunt (synthesizers, guitar, vocals), and Reuben Wu (synthesizers). Jonathan Lee "Jon" Siebels (born August 27, 1979) is an American musician, best known as the guitarist of the band Eve 6. He became a part of the band after meeting bassist and lead vocalist Max Collins during Siebels' freshman year in Crescenta Valley High School. Siebels was part of a band called Monsters Are Waiting, which played shows in the Los Angeles area before Siebels and another band member left the group. In 2010, he performed on and co-wrote Hesta Prynn's solo debut EP Can We Go Wrong. As of March 13, 2011, Siebels was welcomed back to Eve 6 on their official Facebook page. Mellowdrone
Mellowdrone is an American rock band from Los Angeles, formed in 1999. Biography Mellowdrone originated as Jonathan Bates' solo project, but expanded to a full band with Tony DeMatteo (guitar and keyboards), Scott Ellis (drums) and Greg Griffith (bass). Griffith and Ellis were later replaced by Camila Gutierrez and Brian Borg respectively. The band's music encompasses a range of styles from lo-fi, indie rock and experimental. Their debut album, ''Box'', was released in 2006 on Columbia Records. Shortly after, Gutierrez formed Uh Huh Her and left Mellowdrone.
