Mochipet
David Wang, better known by his stage name Mochipet, is a Taiwanese American record producer. His recordings have been released on multiple record labels such as Death$ucker, Peace Off, and Violent Turd. He is also the owner of Daly City Records. Career Mochipet released the album, ''Combat'', in 2004. It was followed by ''Uzumaki''. In 2008, he released ''Microphonepet'', an album consisting of tracks he has recorded with underground rappers for five years. Alan Ranta of ''Tiny Mix Tapes'' gave the album a favorable review, describing it as "one of the strongest hip-hop albums of 2008". KEXP-FM chose "Sharp Drest", a song off of the album, as their Song of the Day on June 23, 2008. Automation Records
Automation Records is a Seattle based independent record label. The label's first release was in 2003 and as of 2013 the label has over fifty releases. Automation Records roster of artists include Abiku, Cex, Curse, DJ Strapon, Forest Kingdom, Gonken, Hopen, Kid Camaro, Mochipet, Mr. Messiah, nonnon, Producer Snafu, Red Squirrels, Graz, and Uglyhead. History From 2003 to 2005 Automation Records existed in relative obscurity releasing only a handful of CDs by local artists and only receiving write-ups in local papers. In 2006 they released the album “Actual Fucking” by the artist Cex. This album received widespread print coverage and charted on the CMJ RPM charts for 6 weeks, peaking at #11. Ellen Fraatz, known professionally as Ellen Allien, is a German electronic musician, music producer, and the founder of BPitch Control music label. Her album ''Stadtkind'' was dedicated to the city of Berlin, and she cites the culture of reunified Berlin as one of the main inspirations for her music. She sings in both German and English. Miguel Trost De Pedro (born July 27, 1979), better known by his stage name Kid606, is an electronic musician who was raised in San Diego and later moved to San Francisco. He is most closely associated with the glitch, IDM, hardcore techno and breakcore scenes.
