Moamen Zakaria
Moamen Zakaria Abbas Eldawy ( ar, مؤمن زكريا عباس الداوي; born 12 April 1988) is an Egyptian former professional footballer who plays as a winger. In 2020, he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. In May 2022, former international teammate Mo Salah invited Zakaria to be part of Liverpool's celebrations after winning the 2022 FA Cup Final. Sohag ( , ), also spelled as ''Sawhāj'', ''Suhag'' and ''Suhaj'', is a city on the west bank of the Nile in Egypt. It has been the capital of Sohag Governorate since 1960, before which the capital was Girga and the name of the governorate was Girga Governorate. The 2014–15 Egyptian Premier League was the 56th season of the Egyptian Premier League, the top Egyptian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 1948. The season started on 15 September 2014 and concluded on 3 August 2015. Teams A total of 20 teams contested the league, including 17 sides from the 2013–14 season and 3 promoted from the 2013–14 Egyptian Second Division. 2015 Egyptian Super Cup
The 2015 Egyptian Super Cup was the 13th edition of the Egyptian Super Cup, an annual football match between the winners of the previous season's Egyptian Premier League and Egypt Cup. The match is usually contested by the winners of the Premier League and the Egypt Cup, but since Zamalek SC, Zamalek won the double (2014–15 Egyptian Premier League and 2015 Egypt Cup), Al Ahly SC, Al Ahly qualified by default as the runners-up in both occasions. The match was played for the first time on international soil at the Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, making it the first African super cup to be staged outside its home country and continent. 2016–17 Egypt Cup
The 2016–17 Egypt Cup was the 85th edition of the oldest recognised football tournament in Africa. It was sponsored by Obour Land, and known as the Obour Land Cup for sponsorship purposes. 294 clubs were accepted into the tournament, and it began with the first qualifying round on 14 October 2016, and concluded with the final on 15 August 2017. The winner earns automatic qualification for the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup. Egyptian Premier League side Zamalek were the defending champions, but were eliminated in the semi-finals by Al Masry.
