Miwako Ichikawa
is a Japanese actress, sister of actress Mikako Ichikawa. She began in 1991 as a model, and released a single in 1998 and an album the following year. She debuted in acting in 2000 and starred in the films '' Another Heaven'' in 2000 and '' Konsento'' (aka ''Concent'' or ''Power Point'') in 2001. But after that, she received minor roles in films '' All About Lily Chou-Chou'', ''Karaoke Terror'', '' Princess Raccoon'', and in TV dramas, including ''Mike Hama'' or ''Anego'' with Ryoko Shinohara. She was given one of the main roles 2008 film '' Nightmare Detective 2''. is a Japanese actress and model from Tokyo, Japan. Her older sister is the actress and model Miwako Ichikawa. Biography Due to her older sister being in the modeling business, Ichikawa made several appearances in the fashion magazine ''Olive'' during her teens. She then became a model in 1994 under exclusive contract with the magazine. In 1998, she started modeling for other magazines such as ''CUTiE'', ''spoon.'' and ''Zipper''. She made her acting debut in the 1998 short film ''How To Jujutsu'', directed by Takashi Homma. Among the most notable movies she has appeared in are ''Blue'', ''Cutie Honey'', ''Memories of Matsuko'' and ''Shin Godzilla''. is a 2005 Japanese film directed by Seijun Suzuki. The "raccoon" of the English title is actually a translation for the tanuki or Japanese raccoon-dog. It is a love story set in the musical genre and stars Zhang Ziyi as a tanuki princess and Joe Odagiri as the banished prince she falls in love with. The film premiered at the 2005 Cannes Film Festival. Plot The Lord of Castle Grace, Azuchi Momoyama ( Mikijiro Hira), is used to ask a prophetess ( Saori Yuki) to confirm he is the fairest of all living things.
