Mitch Gilbert
Mitchell Gilbert (born 10 May 1995) is a Malaysian-Australian racing driver. He has participated under both nationalities at various points in his career. Career Born in Kuala Lumpur, Gilbert began his racing career in 2002 in karting, where he was active until 2010. In 2009 he finished third in the KF2 - class of the CIK-FIA World Cup. At the end of 2010 Gilbert debuted in Formula racing in the winter championship of the British Formula Renault Championship for Fortec Motorsport, under an Australian licence. While his teammate Alex Lynn was champion in this class, Gilbert was tenth, with a best result of third place. In 2011 he made his debut in the main championship of British Formula Renault. Formula Racing
Formula racing (known as open-wheel racing in North America) is any of several forms of open-wheeled single-seater motorsport. The origin of the term lies in the nomenclature that was adopted by the FIA for all of its post-World War II single-seater regulations, or formulae. Macau Grand Prix
The Macau Grand Prix ( pt, Grande Prémio de Macau; ) is a motorsport road race for automobiles and motorcycles held annually in Macau. It is the only street circuit racing event in which both cars and motorcycles participate, and one of only two current national Grand Prix events that are not part of the Formula One World Championship, the other being the New Zealand Grand Prix. The first Macau Grand Prix event was held in 1954, as a sports car event. In 1961, the title race became an open-wheel Formula Libre event. The event has also had a variety of support races in its duration. Production cars joined the event in 1957, which were superseded by touring cars in 1972. Kimiya Sato
is a Japanese racing driver. He currently competes in Super GT. Career After competing in karting in Asia, Sato spent two seasons in Formula BMW UK, ending fourth in 2007. He returned to Japan and resulted runner-up in the 2008 Formula Challenge Japan, then second and fourth in the 2009 and 2010 National Class of the All-Japan Formula Three Championship. Back in Europe, Sato was 10th in the 2011 Formula 3 Euro Series and third in the 2012 German Formula Three. He climbed to Auto GP in 2013, where he ended second in the championship. Jimmy Eriksson (born 14 March 1991 in Tomelilla) is a Swedish race car driver who drove in the GP2 Series for Arden International in the 2016 GP2 Series Career Karting Eriksson made his karting debut in 2005, at the age of fourteen. The Lausitzring (formally known as the Dekra Lausitzring for ownership reasons) is a race track located near Klettwitz (a civil parish of Schipkau, Oberspreewald-Lausitz district) in the state of Brandenburg in northeast Germany, near the borders of Poland and the Czech Republic. It was originally named Lausitzring as it is located in the region the Germans call Lausitz (Lusatia), but was renamed EuroSpeedway Lausitz for better international communication from 2000 to 2010. Performance Racing is a Swedish racing team based in Great Britain, involved in many areas of motorsport. The team has been managed since 1999 by Bobby Issazadhe. The German Formula Three Championship was the national Formula Three championship of Germany, and the former West Germany, from 1950 to 2002, then as Formel 3 until 2014. Croft Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England. The tarmac circuit is long and is based on the lands of an airfield, but has long since moved on from being a basic airfield circuit. The circuit holds meetings of the British Touring Car Championship, British Rallycross and Pickup Truck Racing race series. History The first records of racing at Croft date back to the 1920s, but it was after the Second World War that Croft circuit became a significant motorsport venue.
