Mari Hamada
is a Japanese heavy metal and pop rock singer. Since her debut in 1983, Hamada has been known as the "Heavy Metal Queen" of Japan. Throughout her career, she has released 25 singles and 23 studio albums. Biography Early history Mari Hamada started singing when she joined a choir at elementary school and participated in recording TV commercial jingles while in junior high. While at Musashigaoka High School, she formed a punk rock band called "Mari Band". Make-Up (stylized as MAKE—UP) was a Japanese hard rock and heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in 1983. The band became very famous in Japan for their work on the theme songs for the anime ''Saint Seiya''. In 1985, they released their third album ''Born to Be Hard'' and their fourth and final album ''Rock Legend of Boys & Girls''. Kyoji Yamamoto
is a Japanese musician, singer-songwriter and record producer who is the leader of the hard rock/ heavy metal bands Bow Wow (known as Vow Wow for a period of time) and Wild Flag. He is known for his skillful guitar playing, with former bandmate Neil Murray calling him one of the top Japanese guitarists, and was one of the first hard rock guitarist to use the tapping technique. Yamamoto often uses 24-fret Yamaha HR guitars.
