Mister World Korea ( ko, 미스터 월드 코리아) is a national male beauty pageant responsible for selecting South Korea's representative to the Mister World pageant. Miss and Mister World Korea 2015 took place on 20 November at the Alpensia Resort in Pyeongchang. The current titleholder is Im Seung-jun, Mister World Korea 2015. A beauty pageant is a competition that has traditionally focused on judging and ranking the physical attributes of the contestants. Pageants have now evolved to include inner beauty, with criteria covering judging of personality, intelligence, talent, character, and charitable involvement, through private interviews with judges and answers to public on-stage questions. The term beauty pageant refers originally to the Big Four international beauty pageants. Pageant titles are subdivided into Miss, Mrs. or Ms., and Teen – to clearly identify the difference between pageant divisions. Mister World 2019 was the tenth edition of the Mister World competition. It was held on 23 August 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Miss Grand Korea ( ko, 미스 그랜드 코리아) is a lower concept of Miss Grand International that is held annually as a national female beauty pageant in Korea since 2020. This pageant is to select the representative for Korea to Miss Grand International, which is a pageant promoting World Peace and is against all violent conflicts. The current Miss Grand Korea titleholder is Lee Ji-ho of Seoul. Lee was crowned Miss Grand Korea on October 22, 2021. History Background From 2013 to 2015, the representative for Korea at Miss Grand International was determined by appointing Korean-Canadians that competed in the Miss Earth Canada contest. Miss Queen Korea ( ko, 미스 퀸 코리아) is a national beauty pageant responsible for selecting South Korea's representative to the Miss Universe and Miss World pageant. Miss Korea ( ko, 미스코리아) is a national beauty pageant in South Korea. Lee Seung-hyeon won the title on October 26, 2022. History The first Miss Korea competition took place in 1957 and was sponsored by the Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo. Each year, approximately fifty women compete in Seoul, South Korea, and seven are selected by a panel of judges. The winner "Jin" (진) is crowned as the official Miss Korea. Additionally, there are two "Sun" (선) finalists (equivalent to 1st runners-up), who go on to compete in Miss International or Miss Earth. Lastly, four "Mi" (미) finalists (equivalent to semi-finalists) are chosen. Mister World 2010 was the 6th edition of the Mister World competition. It was held at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, South Korea on March 27, 2010. 74 delegates competed from all around the world. Juan García Postigo of Spain crowned Kamal Ibrahim of Ireland at the end of the event. Introduction For the first time, South Korea debuted in the contest and host the Mister World pageant from March 11 to March 27, 2010.
