Miss Tennessee Teen USA
The Miss Tennessee Teen USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state Tennessee in the Miss Teen USA pageant. The pageant is directed by Greenwood Productions under the ownership of Miss Tennessee USA 1989, Kimberly Payne Greenwood, since 1992. Tennessee is in the top 5 most successful states at Miss Teen USA in terms of number and value of placement In the 1990s, they were placed firs They have the third (equal) highest number of semi-finalist (or better) placings and are one of only five states to have received more than three award Six Tennessee teens have gone on to win the Miss Tennessee USA title and compete at Miss USA, including Lynnette Cole, who won the Miss USA title in 2000 and Rachel Smith, Miss USA 2007. The Miss Tennessee's Teen competition is the competition that selects the representative for the U.S. state of Tennessee in the Miss America's Teen pageant. Anna Grace Parlapiano of Greeneville was crowned Miss Tennessee's Teen on July 1, 2023 at the Cannon Center for Performing Arts in Memphis, Tennessee. She will compete in the Miss America's Teen 2024 pageant in January 2024. Hendersonville is the largest city in Sumner County, Tennessee, on Old Hickory Lake. The population was 61,753 at the 2020 census. Miss Teen USA 2019 was the 37th Miss Teen USA pageant. It was held at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada on April 28, 2019, and was hosted by Miss USA 2014 Nia Sanchez and Tim Tialdo. Miss Teen USA 2020 was the 38th Miss Teen USA pageant. Originally scheduled to be held in spring 2020, the competition was postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later rescheduled for November 7, 2020 at the Exhibition Centre and the Soundstage at Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee. The competition was hosted by Allie LaForce and Cheslie Kryst.
