Miss Ukraine 2017
Miss Ukraine 2017, the 27th edition of the Miss Ukraine pageant was held at the Palace "Ukraine" in Kyiv on 6 September 2017. Twenty-four contestants from across Ukraine competed for the crown. The competition was hosted by Yuriy Horbunov and Kateryna Osadcha. Oleksandra Kucherenko of Dnipro crowned her successor Polina Tkach of Kyiv at the end of the event. Tkach represented Ukraine at the Miss World 2017 pageant where she placed in the top 40. Kateryna Osadcha
Kateryna Osadcha (Ukrainian: Катерина Осадча; born 12 September 1983) is a Ukrainian journalist, host of the programs "Social Life", "The Voice of Ukraine" (1–3, 6–8 seasons) and "The Voice Kids" on the TV channel "1+1". Biography She was born on September 12, 1983, in Kyiv. Her father — Oleksandr Osadchyi, was a Director of Kyivprylad factory, while her mother is a housewife. She also has a younger brother. In addition to school, Osadcha was engaged in music and dance (she was a member of the choreographic ensemble "Little Falcons"). At the age of thirteen, she began her professional modeling career and graduated from the Bagira Agency's modeling school. Olha Yuriivna Polyakova ( uk, Ольга Юріївна Полякова; born 17 January 1979) is a Ukrainian singer, TV presenter, and comedian known as ''Super Blonde''. Career At 15, she began her singing career at Bakhus (Bacchus) restaurant on Kyivska Street in Vinnytsia. National Palace of Arts "Ukraina" ( uk, Національний палац мистецтв "Україна") or Palace "Ukraina" is one of the main theatre venues for official events along with Palace of Sports in Kyiv, Ukraine. The venue is a state company administered by the State Directory of Affairs. The main concert hall has a capacity of 3,714 people. Miss Ukraine
Miss Ukraine (Міс України or Панна України, ''Panna Ukrayiny'') is a national Beauty pageant in Ukraine. Today it is one of the top three national beauty contests in Ukraine, others being Miss Ukraine Universe and Queen of Ukraine. Miss Ukraine serves as preliminary for the Miss World, Miss International and Miss Earth. Until 2006 it was the only national beauty contest, participants of which were qualifying for all the international pageant contests.
