Miss Panamá 2016
Señorita Panama 2016 (formerly Miss Panama) was the 50th Miss Panamá pageant, held to select Panama's representative to the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants. This was the first edition of the renewed Miss Panama pageant, after Justine Pasek, Miss Universe 2002, and César Anel Rodríguez had been named the new directors of the pageant. Twenty preliminary contestants were selected from all over Panama and competed for the crown. The winner of Señorita Panama 2016 was Keity Mendieta (Keity Drennan Mendieta Britton, born on July 24, 1990, in Panama City, Panamá). Miss Panamá 2015 Gladys Del Carmen Brandao Amaya of Los Santos crowned her successor at the end of the event. Keity Mendieta
Keity Drennan Britton (born 24 July 1990) is a Panamanian model and beauty pageant titleholder who the winner of the Miss International Panamá 2011 and Miss Panamá 2016 title. She also participated in Miss Panamá 2011 where she won the title of Virreina Panamá and represented Panama at Miss Universe 2016 pageant where she placed in the Top 13. Early life Drennan was born in Panama City, Panama. Her father is from the United States and her mother is a Panamanian of Indian ancestry. She graduated from the high school at American College in Panama City. She said in a press junket that she changed her last name to Drennan because her biological father recognized her. Modelling career The start of her modeling career took place when she won the "Chica Chico Modelo" contest in 2008. SM Mall Of Asia Arena
The SM Mall of Asia Arena, also known as the Mall of Asia Arena or the MoA Arena, is an indoor arena within the SM Mall of Asia complex, in Bay City, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. Miss Earth 2016
Miss Earth 2016, the 16th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, with the theme "Empowered to make a Change", was held on October 29, 2016, at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines. 83 contestants from all over the world competed for the title. Angelia Ong of the Philippines crowned her successor Katherine Espín of Ecuador at the end of the event becoming the second Ecuadorian woman to win the title of Miss Earth and the first since Olga Álava in 2011. This year's edition also features the newly polished and modified crown created by Florida-based jeweler, ''Ramona Haar''.
