Kansas
Kansas () is a state in the Midwestern United States. Its capital is Topeka, and its largest city is Wichita. Kansas is a landlocked state bordered by Nebraska to the north; Missouri to the east; Oklahoma to the south; and Colorado to the west. Kansas is named after the Kansas River, which in turn was named after the Kansa Native Americans who lived along its banks. The tribe's name (natively ') is often said to mean "people of the (south) wind" although this was probably not the term's original meaning. For thousands of years, what is now Kansas was home to numerous and diverse Native American tribes. Tribes in the eastern part of the state generally lived in villages along the river valleys. Tribes in the western part of the state were semi-nomadic and hunted large herds of bison. The first Euro-American settlement in Kansas occurred in 1827 at Fort Leavenworth. Washburn Rural High School
Washburn Rural High School is a public high school located in southwest Topeka, Kansas, operated by Auburn–Washburn USD 437, and serves students in grades 9–12. Goddard High School is a public high school located in Goddard, Kansas, United States. It is operated by Goddard USD 265 school district and serves students in grades 9 to 12. It is one of two high schools located within the city limits of Goddard. The school colors are blue and white. Atlanta Dream
The Atlanta Dream are an American professional basketball team based in Atlanta, playing in the Eastern Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The team was founded for the 2008 WNBA season. The team is owned by real estate investors Larry Gottesdiener, Suzanne Abair and former Dream player Renee Montgomery. Although the Dream share the Atlanta market with the National Basketball Association's Hawks, the Dream is not affiliated with its NBA counterpart. Shalee Lehning (born October 27, 1986) is a former American basketball player who most recently played for the Atlanta Dream of the WNBA. She was Associate Head Coach at the University of Northern Colorado under head coach Kamie Ethridge. Playing career High school Lehning was a four-year letterwinner and starter under coach Barry Lucas at Sublette High School. She ranks as the fourth all-time leading scorer in Kansas Girls Basketball history with 2,510 career points. The San Antonio Stars were a professional basketball team based in San Antonio, playing in the Western Conference in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
