Miss Diva is a part of Femina Miss India pageant that primarily selects India's representatives to Miss Universe, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. The pageant also sends representative to Miss Supranational. The reigning Miss Diva is Divita Rai who was crowned by the outgoing titleholder Harnaaz Sandhu. History After the Miss Universe Organization returned the franchise to Bennett, Coleman and Co., a separate Miss Diva pageant was held to send representatives from India to Miss Universe. In earlier days, Femina Miss India used to send its winner to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. But in 2010, Tantra Entertainment Private Limited, in collaboration with former Miss Universe and popular Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen, held a separate pageant, I Am She-Miss Universe India, to send representatives from India to Miss Universe. Zeenat Khan (born 19 November 1951), better known as Zeenat Aman, is an Indian actress and former fashion model. Miss International (''Miss International Beauty'' or ''The International Beauty Pageant'') is a Japan-based international beauty pageant organized by the International Culture Association. First held in 1960, it is the fourth largest pageant in the world in terms of the number of national winners participating in the international contest. Along with Miss World, Miss Universe, and Miss Earth, the pageant is one of the Big Four international beauty pageants. Miss Earth is an annual international major beauty pageant based in the Philippines that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility. Miss Universe 2019 was the 68th Miss Universe pageant, held at the Stage 1 of the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on 8 December 2019. Miss Diva 2020 was the 8th edition of the Miss Diva beauty pageant held on February 22, 2020. A total of 20 contestants were shortlisted from various auditions across the country. Vartika Singh crowned Adline Castelino as her successor and she represented India at Miss Universe 2020.
