Mish Mash is a UK band created by Oscar Fullone who also created the Mish Mash parties in London and Glasgow. Comprised UK dj-circuit veterans Oscar Fullone and Kasper Winding, with vocals provided by Copenhagen native Louise Norby, also known as Lois. EMI Music Publishing
EMI Music Publishing Ltd. is a British multinational music publishing company headquartered in London, owned by parent company Sony Corporation of America. In May 2018, Sony Music Publishing agreed to increase its stake in EMI to 90%, pending regulatory approval. Sony has agreed to pay $2.3 billion to acquire EMI, as well as assume EMI's debt of $1.359 billion. In July 2018, Sony bought out the Michael Jackson estate's 10% stake in EMI for $287.5 million. Acid House
Acid house (also simply known as just "acid") is a subgenre of house music developed around the mid-1980s by DJs from Chicago. The style is defined primarily by the squelching sounds and basslines of the Roland TB-303 electronic bass synthesizer-sequencer, an innovation attributed to Chicago producers DJ Pierre of Phuture and Sleezy D. Acid house soon became popular in the United Kingdom and continental Europe, where it was played by DJs in the acid house and later rave scenes. By the late 1980s, acid house had moved into the British mainstream, where it had some influence on pop and dance styles. Acid house brought house music to a worldwide audience. Soma (band)
Soma is the dark ambient and techno musical project of Australian composers David Thrussell and Pieter Bourke. The collaboration began in 1993 when Thrussell approached Bourke about the possibility of remixing Eden tracks. The Eden remixing sessions yielded the first Soma compositions. Soma developed into a full-time project when Bourke moved in with Thrussell after a fire had destroyed his flat, allowing the two more time to work together. Their debut album ''Hollow Earth'' was issued on Extreme Records in 1994 and was well-received critically, with Dave Thompson of the ''Alternative Press'' comparing it favorably to Kraftwerk's late seventies material. Ultratop is an organization which generates and publishes the official record charts in Belgium. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. Two parallel sets of charts are concurrently produced and published, one on behalf of Belgium's mainly Dutch-speaking Flanders region, and the other catering to the nation's mainly French-speaking region of Wallonia. The Dutch Single Top 100 or Single Top 100 is a Dutch chart, based on official physical single sales, legal downloads and since July 2013 streaming and composed by Dutch Charts. It is one of the three official charts, the other two being the Dutch Top 40 and the Mega Top 30. The difference is that these charts also include airplay data. The list is especially intended for the music industry and those who take an interest in charts.
