Rosemary's Sons is a Dutch band which makes music described as mainstream pop/rock and rootsrock. The band formed in 1998. With their debut album on Warner Music, ''All in Hand'' in 2002, they scored a minor hit with the single "Shine", which featured Dutch country/pop singer Ilse DeLange. Biography Rosemary's Sons was founded in Breda, Netherlands, in 1998 by a group of teenage friends. The band released an independent CD, ''Misery Loves Company'', which got immediate attention from record label Warner Music. In 2001, Warner offered the band, which had become quite popular in their hometown, a record deal. Led by producer Oscar Holleman ( Krezip, Heideroosjes), they released their debut album ''All in Hand''. Stevie Ann (born Anna Stephanie Struijk in Roggel, 24 June 1986) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. Biography Stevie Ann was born as Anna Stephanie Struijk in Roggel, on 24 June 1986. CNR Music
CNR is a Dutch audio and video label. It was founded in 1937 as CNR Records by Cornelis Nicolaas Rood, who made his fortune as a producer of lampshades and other lighting materials. Rood regarded his record label merely as a hobby, but things changed for the better in the early 1950s when CNR bought distribution and marketing rights for several foreign pop and classical record companies. He also signed up several local artists. One of CNR's first major successes was Dutch singer Gert Timmerman, who became one of the Dutch top selling male artists from the end of the 1950s. V2 Records (or V2 Music; V2 being an abbreviation for Virgin 2) is a record label that was purchased by Universal Music Group in 2007 and sold to IASin 2013. In the Benelux, V2 operates separately from PIAS, as the label bought itself out from Universal in 2007. History The label was founded in 1996 by Richard Branson, five years after he sold Virgin Records to EMI. V2 management was led by the same individuals that built Branson's renowned balloon and the control position was held by a Canadian public corporation. De Dijk (English: The Dike) is a Dutch rock band which formed in 1981. The band is named after Zeedijk, a street in their hometown Amsterdam. Their music can be described as a mixture of soul, blues and rock 'n roll, with lyrics sung only in Dutch, except for their 2010 album ''Hold On Tight''; the song 'Enough is Enough', both of which are sung in English by Solomon Burke; and ''Stupid Guy'' from the album ''Wakker in een vreemde wereld'', performed in English by the regular band. AFAS Live (formerly known as the Heineken Music Hall) is a concert hall in Amsterdam, Netherlands, near the Johan Cruyff Arena. The Cranberries
The Cranberries were an Irish rock band formed in Limerick, Ireland. Originally named the Cranberry Saw Us, the band were formed in 1989 by lead singer Niall Quinn, guitarist Noel Hogan, bassist Mike Hogan and drummer Fergal Lawler. Quinn was replaced as lead singer by Dolores O'Riordan in 1990 and they changed their name to the Cranberries.
