Mirpur Royals (Urdu: ) is a Pakistani professional T20 franchise cricket team that takes part in the Kashmir Premier League. They are captained by Shoaib Malik, coached by former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq and owned by Abdul Wajid. The team represents the city of Mirpur, the capital of the Mirpur District. The Kashmir Premier League ( ur, ; abbreviated KPL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league organized by Pakistan Cricket Board in the Pakistani administrated side of the Kashmir. League was founded in 2021. The league consists of seven franchises; six teams representing major cities in Kashmir, while one team is representing the Kashmiri diaspora. Each team plays the group stage matches in a single round-robin tournament with the top four teams qualifying for the playoffs and ultimately for the final.
