Miroslav Ivanov ( bg, Мирослав Иванов; born 9 November 1981 in Gabrovo) is a former Bulgarian footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Beginning He began his career in his hometown as player of Yantra Gabrovo. Then he was transferred to FC Shumen. Levski Sofia He signed for Levski Sofia in early 2005. During the second part of 2004/2005 season he was used mainly as a substitute and he made 8 appearances, scoring 2 goals (for the 2-1 victory over Bulgarian side PFC Cherno More Varna in a match played on Georgi Asparuhov Stadium). In 2005/2006 season he took part in 19 games, scoring 1 goal. He scored a goal against the Dutch side SC Heerenveen in UEFA Cup match during 2005/2006 season (Levski lost 1-2). In the beginning of the 2006/2007 season he again is a rare starter. He became a Champion of Bulgaria in 2009. Gabrovo
Gabrovo ( bg, Габрово ) is a town in central northern Bulgaria, the administrative centre of Gabrovo Province. It is situated at the foot of the central Balkan Mountains, in the valley of the Yantra River, and is known as an international capital of humour and satire (see Gabrovo humour), as well as noted for its Bulgarian National Revival architecture. PFC Cherno More Varna
Cherno More ( bg, Черно Море) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in the city of Varna, which currently competes in Bulgaria's primary football competition, the First League. Founded on March 3, 1913, as an association football branch of the larger sports society SC Galata, the club has spent the majority of its existence playing in the top tier of Bulgarian football. Cherno More is named after the Black Sea, and the football club is also known by its nickname The Sailors. Bulgarian Supercup
The Bulgarian Supercup ( bg, Суперкупа на България) is the trophy won in a football match held between the football club that has won the Bulgarian first football division in the season that ended in the year of the match and the holder of the Bulgarian Cup at that time. In case the champion of Bulgaria has also won the cup, the Bulgarian Cup finalist competes with the champion in the match for the trophy. The Supercup match is usually held during the weekend before the start of a new season. Since 2004 the Supercup game has been an annual event. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. Razgrad
Razgrad ( bg, Разград ) is a city in Northeastern Bulgaria in the valley of the Beli Lom river that falls within the historical and geographical region of Ludogorie (Deliorman). It is an administrative center of Razgrad Province. Etymology The suffix "grad" means city in Bulgarian, while the origin and the meaning of the first part "raz" is obscure. During the Second Bulgarian Empire, around the present city there was a settlement, mentioned by the names of ''Hrasgrad'', ''Hrazgrad'' and ''Hrizgrad. Ivaylo Bogdanov Petev ( bg, Ивайло Богданов Петев; born 9 July 1975) is a Bulgarian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. He spent his whole career playing in Bulgaria, a part from a season at Greek club Trikala. Petev was most successful early in his career with hometown club Litex Lovech. FC Montana ( bg, ФК Монтана) is a Bulgarian association football club based in Montana, which currently plays in the Second League, the second level of Bulgarian football league system. Montana plays its home matches at the Ogosta Stadium, which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators. The club's traditional colours are blue, white and red.
