Mirai (web Series)
''Mirai'' is a Maldivian crime thriller web series written and directed by Azhan Ibrahim. It stars Washiya Mohamed, Sharaf Abdulla, Mohamed Ishfan and Aishath Shaaya in main roles. The pilot episode of the series was released on 8 January 2023. The series is based on the lives of different individuals running from their mistakes, facing the hard truths of life and trying to change their destiny. It follows a happy family falling apart due the untimely death of their only child and the journey the couples take to avenge the murderer. Washiya Mohamed (born 18 June 1999) is a Maldivian film actress. She made her career debut by playing one of the main roles in the sitcom web series, ''Thin Bibee'' (2019). Sharaf Abdulla
Sharafudheen Abdulla (born 4 August 1991), commonly known as Sharaf Abdulla, is a Maldivian film actor. Career After completing his education in his homeland, R. Meedhoo, Abdulla relocated to Male' in 2010, in search of a job opportunity. After working at several jobs, he joined a local television channel VTV, where he featured in a drama series developed by VTV. His talent was noticed by director Ilyas Waheed, who offered him to play a significant role for his upcoming venture. Abdulla's first project was Waheed's crime thriller ''Nina'', where he was roped in to play the lead role against Nuzuhath Shuaib. Aisha Ali (born 10 May 1997) is a Maldivian film actress. Career In 2018, Ali made her career debut in Amir Saleem-directed social drama television series ''Lam'' opposite Ali Azim which received mixed reviews from critics where Ali's performance attracted mostly negative reception from critics for her "lack of natural acting, emotion and dialogue delivery". Ravee Farooq is a Maldivian actor, director, editor and choreographer. Career Farooq made his film debut with Abdul Faththaah-directed romantic disaster film, '' Hureemey Inthizaarugaa'' (2005) cast along with Mariyam Zuhura, Waleedha Waleed, Ibrahim Jihad and Neena Saleem. The film, heavily relied on the effect of the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake on the Maldives, received favorable reviews from critics though it failed to perform financially. Mohamed Afrah (born 15 November 1971) is a Maldivian film actor and journalist. Career In 2019, he made his film career debut in Maldivian first sitcom ''Karu Hakuru'' developed by Mohamed Munthasir. Ahmed Saeed is a Maldivian film actor and director. Career 1997–2010: Debut and early releases On 13 June 1997, Saeed made his screen debut in a video single alongside Hassan Afeef and Mariyam Nisha. Afterwards, he played a role in Yoosuf Rafeeu's ''Dhiriulhumakee Mieebaa?''. Ahmed Sharif (born 31 August 1991) is a Maldivian film actor. Career Prior to acting, Sharif was more involved in the creative departments of the film where he served as a foley artist and a boom operator in Aishath Rishmy's romantic film '' Bos'' (2017). Mohamed Abdul Ghanee (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Theyravaa is a Maldivian singer and songwriter. Early life and career Born to a musical family, Ghanee had no interest in music even when his siblings spend their time in jamming and singing. While studying at Madhrasathul Ifthithaah, he participated in the Inter-house singing competition, on a request by his elder brother. His performance was well noted by judges and received several prizes.
