Miquel Nelom
Miquel Nelom (born 22 September 1990) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left back. Nelom has previously played in his homeland for Excelsior, Feyenoord, Sparta Rotterdam and Willem II, and for Scottish club Hibernian. He represented the Netherlands in two full international matches, both in 2013. Club career Nelom made his professional debut for Excelsior on 9 October 2009. He replaced Tobias Waisapy in the 90th minute of an Eerste Divisie away match against HFC Haarlem (0–1). With Excelsior's surprising promotion in the season 2010–11, Nelom managed to make his Eredivisie debut on 7 August 2010. However, he couldn't prevent Excelsior losing the season opening match against De Graafschap (3-0). Nelom moved to Feyenoord in 2011. Spijkenisse
Spijkenisse () is a city in the province of South Holland, Netherlands. Following an administrative reform in 2015, it is part of the municipality of Nissewaard, and has a population of 72,500. It covers an area of of which is water. It is part of the Greater Rotterdam area. History Archaeological evidence suggests that the area around Spijkenisse has been inhabited for several thousand years. The area's prehistoric inhabitants depended on fishing in the Maas and hunting in the surrounding swamps for sustenance. Spijkenisse also has an anthem, the song is called "Spijkenisse" by Rik Hoogendoorn. The song was released in 2012 and is very popular amongst people who live in Spijkenisse. The oldest known reference to the name ''Spickenisse'' is in a source from 1231. Spijkenisse is a portmanteau of the words ' ( spit) and ''nesse'' (nose) meaning "pointy nose." VBV De Graafschap () is a professional football club from Doetinchem, Netherlands, playing in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football. It was formed on 1 February 1954 and they play their home games at the De Vijverberg stadium. The stadium was opened on 12 August 2000 and stands on the site of the club's old pitch. The club name is Dutch for "The County". They are nicknamed ''Superboeren'' ("Super Farmers"). While not a large club by European club football standards, the club has remained a semi-permanent fixture in the Eredivisie (top league); although to date it has never won any silverware of importance. On 18 April 2015, PSV were confirmed as champions of the season, thus ending the four-year reign of Ajax. 2009–10 Eerste Divisie
The Eerste Divisie 2009–10 was the 54th season of the Eerste Divisie since its establishment in 1956. The previous year's winners were VVV-Venlo; they, with runner-up RKC Waalwijk, after a promotion/relegation playoff win over De Graafschap, were promoted to the Eredivisie. Twenty teams took part: eighteen from the 2008-2009 season and relegated teams FC Volendam and De Graafschap.
