Minnesota Valkyrie
The Minnesota Valkyrie were a women's American football team that played in the Legends Football League (formerly the Lingerie Football League). Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the team played their home games at the Target Center. On March 23, 2011, it was announced that the Lingerie Football League (LFL) would add an expansion team to Minneapolis for the 2011–12 season. On April 4, 2011, the team was officially named Minnesota Valkyrie In Norse mythology, a valkyrie ("chooser of the slain") is one of a host of female figures who guide souls of the dead to the god Odin's hall Valhalla. Los Angeles Temptation
The Los Angeles Temptation were a women's American football team in the Legends Football League, previously known as the Lingerie Football League, based in Los Angeles and Ontario, California. The team was established as Team Dream, one of two teams that participated in the inaugural Lingerie Bowl broadcast during Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. The team won the first two Lingerie Bowls in 2004 and 2005, and then again in 2010, 2011, and 2012 after the Lingerie Football League had launched in 2009. The league rebranded as the Legends Football League in 2013 and shifted away from the Super Bowl halftime shows. Following the 2019 season, the LFL ceased operations and relaunched as the Extreme Football League (X League) for the 2020 season. The accesso ShoWare Center is a multi-purpose arena in Kent, Washington, United States. About the venue The construction of the arena began September 2005, with the venue opening in January 2009. The principal tenants are the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League and the Tacoma Stars of the Major Arena Soccer League. Naming rights to the arena were initially sold to Amiga, Inc. and the arena was to be called the "Amiga Center". However, Amiga failed to make a promised down payment, and lost the naming rights as of August 2007. In November 2008, the Kent City Council announced that the city had sold the naming rights to the Fresno-based VisionOne, Inc., an e-business software developer which in turn named the arena after ShoWare, its flagship box office operations program. Chicago Bliss
The Chicago Bliss is a women's American football team based in the Chicago area. The Bliss is one for the first four teams to participate in the Lingerie Bowl and was carried over to the formation of the Lingerie Football League (LFL) in 2009. Since the formation of the league, the Bliss have played out of multiple indoor and outdoor venues. In 2013, the league rebranded as the Legends Football League. The Chicago Bliss are the LFL team with the most wins and the most championship titles. As of the conclusion of the 2019 season, the Bliss had a league best 40–14–1 all-time record and four Legends Cups wins in 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018. MTV2 (formerly M2) is an American pay television Cable television, channel owned by the Paramount Media Networks division of Paramount Global.
