Established by Decree No 1 of July 5, 1879, the Ministry of Justice of Bulgaria () is the link between the executive and judicial branches of power. Sofia - Ministry Of Justice
Sofia ( ; bg, София, Sofiya, ) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is situated in the Sofia Valley at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the western parts of the country. The city is built west of the Iskar river, and has many mineral springs, such as the Sofia Central Mineral Baths. It has a humid continental climate. Being in the centre of the Balkans, it is midway between the Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea, and closest to the Aegean Sea. Known as Serdica in Antiquity and Sredets in the Middle Ages, Sofia has been an area of human habitation since at least 7000 BC. Hristo Ivanov (politician)
Hristo Lyubomirov Ivanov ( bg, Христо Любомиров Иванов; born 13 September 1974) is a Bulgarian politician and lawyer. He served as Minister of Justice in the Second Borisov Government, Second Borisov Cabinet before resigning on 9 December 2015. He also served as deputy prime minister and justice minister in the caretaker government of Georgi Bliznashki between 6 August and 7 November 2014. In early 2017 he founded the Yes, Bulgaria! political party whose priorities include institutional reforms, including a reform of the justice system, and anti-corruption efforts. Education Ivanov has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Sofia (St. Kliment Ohridski). Tsetska Tsacheva Dangovska ( bg, Цецка Цачева Данговска; born 24 May 1958) is a Bulgarian politician from GERB and a jurist. She was the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria from 4 May 2017 to 5 April 2019. She had previously held the position of Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria on two occasions. Tsetska Tsacheva is the first woman to ever chair the National Assembly of Bulgaria since its establishment in 1878. Background Tsacheva was born in Dragana, Ugarchin Municipality, Lovech Province. She finished the Pleven High School of Mathematics in 1976 and graduated in law from Sofia University. The Executive, also referred as the Executive branch or Executive power, is the term commonly used to describe that part of government which enforces the law, and has overall responsibility for the governance of a state. In political systems based on the separation of powers, such as the USA, government authority is distributed between several branches in order to prevent power being concentrated in the hands of a single person or group. Diana Kovacheva ( bg, Диана Ковачева, born 16 July 1975) is a Bulgarian lawyer and politician, who served as justice minister from 30 November 2011 to 21 February 2013. Early life and education Kovacheva was born in Sofia in 1975. She holds a law degree, which she received from Sofia Kliment Ohridski University. She also obtained a PhD in international law and international relations.
