Tsetska Tsacheva
Tsetska Tsacheva Dangovska ( bg, Цецка Цачева Данговска; born 24 May 1958) is a Bulgarian politician from GERB and a jurist. She was the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria from 4 May 2017 to 5 April 2019. She had previously held the position of Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria on two occasions. Tsetska Tsacheva is the first woman to ever chair the National Assembly of Bulgaria since its establishment in 1878. Background Tsacheva was born in Dragana, Ugarchin Municipality, Lovech Province. She finished the Pleven High School of Mathematics in 1976 and graduated in law from Sofia University. A member of the Pleven Bar Association, she practised as a lawyer and was subsequently a head legal advisor to the Pleven Municipality for seven and a half years until 2007. 2016 Bulgarian Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Bulgaria on 6 November 2016, alongside a referendum on changes to the electoral system and political party funding. Plamen Manushev
Plamen Ivanov Manushev ( bg, Пламен Иванов Манушев) is a Bulgarian politician and retired Vice Admiral of the Bulgarian Navy. Education Plamen Manushev received his secondary education at the Mathematics High School in Tolbuhin in 1972. That same year he joined the National Higher Naval School "N. Vaptsarov "in Varna. In 1977, he graduated from the Naval Academy and joined the ranks of the Bulgarian Army. From 1984 to 1986 he studied at the Naval Academy "A. A. Grechko" in Leningrad, RSFSR, USSR, yielding a degree "Master of warfare". Simeon Djankov
Simeon Dyankov ( bg, Симеон Дянков, also Djankov; born July 13, 1970) is a Bulgarian economist. From 2009 to 2013, he was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Bulgaria in the government of Boyko Borisov. Prior to his cabinet appointment, Dyankov was a chief economist of the finance and private sector vice-presidency of the World Bank. He was an associate editor of the '' Journal of Comparative Economics'' from 2004 to 2009. Dyankov was a chairman of the board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. From 2013 to 2015, he was appointed rector of the New Economic School in Moscow. Since November 2015, Dyankov was a research fellow of the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics. The National Assembly ( bg, Народно събрание, Narodno sabranie) is the unicameral parliament and legislative body of the Republic of Bulgaria. The National Assembly was established in 1879 with the Tarnovo Constitution. 2009 Bulgarian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Bulgaria on 5 July 2009. With 40% of the vote, the decisive winner of the elections was the established in 2006 personalistic party of Boyko Borisov, GERB. The Socialist Party, in power before the election, was in second place, with around 18%. Оnce-ruling National Movement Simeon II did not cross the 4% threshold and won no seats. The turnout was 60.6%, one of the lowest ever. Following the election, GERB leader Boyko Borisov became Prime Minister. Just like all the previous parliamentary elections since the fall of communism, the government was not re-elected.
