The Ministry of Justice and Public Administration of the Republic of Croatia ( hr, Ministarstvo pravosuđa i uprave) is the ministry in the Government of Croatia which is in charge of prosecuting government cases and the administration of institutions falling within the scope of the judiciary system (courts, prisons, etc.), and in charge of the system and organization of state administration and local and regional governments, political and electoral system, personal status of citizens and other activities within its jurisdiction. Zagreb
Zagreb ( , , , ) is the capital (political), capital and List of cities and towns in Croatia#List of cities and towns, largest city of Croatia. Vesna Škare-Ožbolt
Vesna Škare-Ožbolt (; born 20 June 1961) is a Croatian politician. She was the 10th Minister of Justice of Croatia from 2003 until 2006. She was the second female holder of that office, as well as the second consecutive woman after Ingrid Antičević-Marinović. Career Before the first democratic elections in 1990, she worked in Croatian judiciary. In the 1990s she joined the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and became one of the advisors to President Franjo Tuđman. In the late 1990s she handled negotiations leading to the peaceful integration of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Western Syrmia into Croatia. After the defeat of the HDZ party in the 2000 parliamentary elections, Škare-Ožbolt, widely perceived as a moderate, left that party and followed Mate Granić to newly formed Democratic Centre (DC). The Bridge ( hr, Most), previously known as Bridge of Independent Lists ( hr, Most nezavisnih lista) until November 2020, is a political party in Croatia founded in 2012. Ante Šprlje (born 20 August 1979) is a Croatian lawyer who served as the Minister of Justice in the cabinets of Prime Ministers Tihomir Orešković and Andrej Plenković from 22 January 2016 until being dismissed by Plenković on 27 April 2017. Early life and education Ante Šprlje was born on 28 August 1979 in the village of Matijevići near Metković to Mate and Maša Šprlje. He finished elementary and high school in Metković. Orsat Miljenić
Orsat Miljenić (born 15 September 1968) is a Croatian lawyer, diplomat, and politician currently serving as Chief of Staff of the Office of the President of Croatia. He served as Croatia's Minister of Justice from 2011 to 2015, in the Cabinet of Zoran Milanović. Miljenić was born in Dubrovnik, and graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Zagreb in 1993. He got his master's degree in Central European University in Budapest in 1995. Dražen Bošnjaković (born 6 January 1961) is a Croatian politician who had served as the Minister of Justice in the cabinet of Andrej Plenković from 2017 to 2020.
