The Minister of State Innovation and Public Administration () was a ministerial post of the Albanian government responsible for innovation and information and communications technology that functioned from 2010 until 2017. The last minister serving was Milena Harito of the Socialist Party. Harito is a French and Albanian citizen. She is an information and communications technology engineer and a has a Ph.D. degree from the Paris VI “Pierre et Marie Curie” University. Harito engaged in politics in 2012 after a carrier in the private sector in France in the telecommunications sector where she held different research and managerial positions from 1997 until 2012. Council Of Ministers (Albania)
The Council of Ministers () is the executive branch that constitutes the Government of Albania. The Council is led by the Prime Minister of Albania. The prime minister is nominated by the President from among those candidates, who enjoy majority support in the Parliament; the candidate is then chosen by the Parliament. In the absence of the prime minister, the Deputy Prime Minister takes over his functions. There are 19 other government members, serving as deputy prime ministers, government ministers or both; they are chosen by the prime minister and confirmed by the Parliament. As of April 2017, after a reshuffle, 50% of the cabinet ministers are women. The Parliament of Albania must give final approval of the composition of the cabinet. Tirana ( , ; aln, Tirona) is the capital and largest city of Albania. Milena Harito (born 4 October 1966) is an Albanian politician and member of the Socialist Party of Albania. She is Minister of Innovation and Public Administration between September 2013 and September 2017. She currently represents Albania in the construction of a regional economic zone for six countries of the Western Balkans. Edi Rama (born Edvin Kristaq Rama, 4 July 1964) is an Albanian politician, painter, writer, former university lecturer, publicist and former basketball player, who has served as the 33rd and current Prime Minister of Albania since 2013 and chairman of the Socialist Party of Albania since 2005. Genc Pollo (born 7 April 1963 in Tirana) is an Albanian conservative politician. An orthodox Christian and trained historian, Pollo was co-founder and first spokesman of the Albanian Democratic Party. He is a member of the Albanian Parliament since 1996 and held various minister posts since 2005. Early life and career Pollo was born in 1963 in Tirana. His father, Stefanaq Pollo was an academic, scholar, professor and historian.
