The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan ( kk, Қазақстан Республикасының Сыртқы істер министрі, ''Qazaqstan Respublikasynyñ Syrtqy ıster ministrı''; Russian. ''Министр иностранных дел Республики Казахстан'') is an official in the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, responsible for ensuring the implementation of foreign policy. He/She heads the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan can independently appoint and dismiss the minister without consulting the Parliament. The current foreign minister of Kazakhstan is Mūhtar Tıleuberdı. Kazykhanov holds a newly created position in the presidential administration with the title of Special Representative for International Cooperation. Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly Tokayev ( kk, Қасым-Жомарт Кемелұлы Тоқаев, Qasym-Jomart Kemelūly Toqaev ; born 17 May 1953) is a Kazakh politician and diplomat who is currently serving as the President of Kazakhstan since 12 June 2019. Shortly before that, he served as acting president after the resignation of Nursultan Nazarbayev, who previously held the presidential post for nearly three decades. Akmaral Haidarqyzy Arystanbekova ( kk, Ақмарал Хайдарқызы Арыстанбекова, ''Aqmaral Haidarqyzy Arystanbekova'') is a Kazakhstani diplomat who served the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic from November 1989 to December 1991.
