Minimum Fax
minimum fax is an independent publishing house based in Rome. It was founded by Daniele di Gennaro and Marco Cassini in 1994 and it publishes books of Italian and foreign fiction, and popular non-fiction. Among other foreign authors, it publishes in Italy books by Raymond Carver, Richard Yates, Charles Bukowski, David Foster Wallace, Lester Bangs, Donald Barthelme, John Barth, George Saunders, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Leonard Cohen, Jonathan Lethem, Jennifer Egan, Kurt Vonnegut, Aimee Bender, etc. In the Italian fiction collection, works by Ernesto Aloia, Antonio Pascale, Carlo Lucarelli, Andrea Camilleri, Paolo Cognetti, Raffaele La Capria, Nicola Lagioia, Valeria Parrella, Marcello Fois, Veronica Raimo, Claudia Durastanti, etc. History The history of the minimum fax officially begins in 1993. Dino Verde (13 July 1922 – 1 February 2004) was an Italian author, lyricist, playwright and screenwriter. Life and career Born Edoardo Verde in Naples, in 1943 he started working in the satirical magazine '' Marc'Aurelio''. Since the late 1940s Verde wrote revues and comedy plays for the most popular comedians of the time, including Macario, Nino Taranto, Aldo Fabrizi, Mario Riva and Riccardo Billi, Carlo Dapporto. In 1949 he started collaborating with EIAR, where he specialized in writing sketches and parody songs. Maria Luisa Spaziani
Maria Luisa Spaziani (21 June 1923 – 30 June 2014) was an Italian poet. Biography Spaziani was born in Turin. At nineteen, she founded the review ''Il dado'', working with collaborators such as Vasco Pratolini, Sandro Penna and Vincenzo Ciaffi. Virginia Woolf sent her a chapter of her novel ''The Waves'', autographed to ''Alla piccola direttrice'' (To the young editor). Spaziani did not contribute her own poems, however, feeling that they were not of sufficient quality. In the 1950s Spaziani became involved with the poet Eugenio Montale (1896–1981). Montale encouraged Spaziani to write poetry, and was a significant influence in her early style. Maria Luisa Spaziani's first book of poetry, ''Le acque del sabato'', appeared in 1954. Trastevere
Trastevere () is the 13th ''rione'' of Rome: it is identified by the initials R. XIII and it is located within Municipio I. Its name comes from Latin ''trans Tiberim'', literally 'beyond the Tiber'. Claudia Durastanti (born 8 June 1984) is an Italian writer and translator. Early life Durastanti was born in the Brooklyn neighbourhood of Bensonhurst to two deaf Italian parents, who divorced in 1990. After their divorce, Durastanti (aged 6) moved to the Basilicata region of southern Italy with her mother.
