Milovan Raković
Milovan Raković (Serbian Cyrillic: Милован Раковић; born 19 February 1985) is a Serbian former professional basketball player. He is a 2.08 m tall center. Professional career Raković played in youth categories of KK Partizan. He made his senior debut with Polet Keramika in the 2003–04 season. From 2004 to 2006 he played with Atlas and for the 2006–07 season he moved to Mega Ishrana. In 2007, he joined the Russian Super League club Spartak Saint Petersburg and stayed with them for three seasons. On 6 July 2010, he signed a three-year deal with the Italian club Montepaschi Siena. In July 2011, he was loaned to Žalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania for the 2011–12 season. In the summer of 2012, he parted ways with Siena. On 10 July 2012, Raković signed two-year contract with the Spanish team Bilbao Basket. After being released from Bilbao Basket, he signed a one-year deal with Triumph Lyubertsy on 25 July 2013. The center (C), or the centre, also known as the five or the pivot, is one of the five Basketball position, positions in a regulation basketball game. The center is normally the tallest player on the team, and often has a great deal of strength and body mass as well. In the NBA, the center is typically close to tall. Serbian Cyrillic Alphabet
The Serbian Cyrillic alphabet ( sr, / , ) is a variation of the Cyrillic script used to write the Serbian language, updated in 1818 by Serbian linguist Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, Vuk Karadžić. It is one of the two alphabets used to write standard modern Serbian language, Serbian, the other being Gaj's Latin alphabet. Karadžić based his alphabet on the previous Slavonic-Serbian script, following the principle of "write as you speak and read as it is written", removing obsolete letters and letters representing iotified vowels, introducing from the Latin alphabet instead, and adding several consonant letters for sounds specific to Serbian phonology. During the same period, linguists led by Ljudevit Gaj adapted the Latin alphabet, in use in western South Slavic areas, using the same principles. 2001 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship
The 2001 FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship (known at that time as 2001 European Championship for Cadets) was the 16th edition of the FIBA Europe Under-16 Championship. The FIBA U16 European Championship, previously known as the FIBA Europe Championship for Cadets, is a youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1971 edition. Through the 2003 edition, it was held every second year, but since the 2004 edition onward, it is held every year. FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
The FIBA U20 European Championship, previously known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under', is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are Spain. Starting with the 2005 B edition, a Division B tournament, which is the secondary level of the European Under-20 Basketball Championship, is also organized. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. Serie A is organised by Lega Basket, which is regulated by the Italian Basketball Federation (FIP). It is the highest-tier level of the Italian league system.
