Million Dollar Mystery
''Million Dollar Mystery'' (also known as ''Money Mania'') is a 1987 American film released with a promotional tie-in for Glad-Lock brand bags. This was the final feature-length film directed by Richard Fleischer. It starred an ensemble cast of "America's new comic talent". The film was largely inspired by Stanley Kramer's ''It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World''. Dar Robinson, a stuntman, died on November 21, 1986 after riding his motorcycle off a cliff while attempting to do a stunt. Plot Sidney Preston, a disgruntled White House aide, takes off with $4 million that belonged to the government. While on the run, he stops at a roadside diner in Arizona and has their world-famous chili, while flirting with the waitress. Two clumsy government spies named Fred and Bob are looking for Sidney. Sidney suffers a fatal heart attack and before dying asks for a kiss from the waitress, then he reveals to the onlookers the location of the first million dollars which he says is "In the city ... Richard O. Douglas Emerson
Douglas Emerson (born October 4, 1974) is an American former child actor who played List of Beverly Hills, 90210 characters#Scott Scanlon, Scott Scanlon on ''Beverly Hills, 90210'' in the show's first and second seasons and played Eddie Beckner in ''The Blob (1988), The Blob''. On Beverly Hills 90210, Emerson's character Scott was a nerdy freshman and best friends with David Silver (Beverly Hills, 90210), David Silver, played by Brian Austin Green. Dino De Laurentiis
Agostino "Dino" De Laurentiis (; 8 August 1919 – 10 November 2010) was an Italian-American film producer. Along with Carlo Ponti, he was one of the producers who brought Italian cinema to the international scene at the end of World War II. He produced or co-produced more than 500 films, of which 38 were nominated for Academy Awards. He also had a brief acting career in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Early life De Laurentiis was born at Torre Annunziata in the province of Naples, and grew up selling spaghetti made by his father's pasta factory. Glen Canyon is a natural canyon carved by a length of the Colorado River, mostly in southeastern and south-central Utah, in the United States. Don Stansauk (April 2, 1925 – January 27, 2004) was an American professional wrestler and actor, known by his ring name, Hard Boiled Haggerty. He was previously a professional American football player, and became a successful character actor after his wrestling career. Career After attending Pasadena City College and the University of Denver, Stansauk was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the eighteenth round of the National Football League entry draft in 1950. He played defensive tackle and, after a season with the Lions, was traded to the Green Bay Packers. Over the next two seasons, Stansauk played in 15 games and recovered two fumbles. Jamie Alcroft (born January 18, 1949) is an American comedian and voice actor known for his voice-over work in movies, TV shows and video games and was half of the comedy duo Mack & Jamie. Biography Early life and education Alcroft is of English, Welsh, Irish and German ancestry. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Ohio University in 1971.
