Million Dollar Minute
''Million Dollar Minute'' is an Australian quiz show which aired on the Seven Network. It premiered on 16 September 2013. The show was originally hosted by Grant Denyer, and later by Simon Reeve, and aired at 5:30 pm on weeknights. The show was cancelled in September 2015 and was replaced by ''The Chase Australia'' in its timeslot. Repeats are currently shown on 7TWO in place of '' Home and Away's Early Years'' on Hiatus. History ''Million Dollar Minute'' was filmed at Global Television Studios in Melbourne in the same studio that was used for ''Deal or No Deal''. In November 2013 the original host, Grant Denyer, resigned for "family reasons" and was replaced by ''Weekend Sunrise'' sports presenter Simon Reeve for the 2014 series, with sound effects and themes also upgraded. It was announced on 30 August 2015 that the show would be axed after nearly two years, and replaced in its timeslot by ''The Chase Australia''. Grant Denyer
Grant Craig Denyer (born 12 September 1977) is an Australian television and radio presenter and motor racing driver, who has worked for several television networks, including Seven Network and Network 10, mostly serving as a presenter. In 2018, he won a Gold Logie Award for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television. Television career In 1997, Denyer began his career in the media with a position at Prime Television in Wagga Wagga as a news reporter and journalist. He moved to Sydney to work as V8 Supercar pit reporter for Network Ten, when he caught the eye of television producer Adam Boland. Letters And Numbers
''Letters and Numbers'' is an Australian game show on SBS One. It is hosted by former newsreader Richard Morecroft, co-hosted by David Astle and Lily Serna. Although it is based on the French game show ''Des chiffres et des lettres'', its structure is similar to the UK version of the show, ''Countdown'' - with the titular difference being used to avoid confusion with the Australian music program ''Countdown''. Career Burns' radio debut was in 1988 on community radio station 3RRR on the program ''Lawyers, Guns & Money'' as the character Sir Lunchalot.
