Ari Millen
Ari Millen (born January 19, 1982) is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his performance as numerous clones in the Space and BBC America science fiction television series ''Orphan Black'' (2014–2017), for which he won a Canadian Screen Award in 2016. Early life Millen was born in Kingston, Ontario. As a child he aspired to play in the National Hockey League until, at the age of 17, a friend offered him a part in a small play and he decided to pursue performing arts instead. In secondary school at Kingston Collegiate and Vocational Institute , he spent his Ontario Academic Credit year studying theatre. He subsequently attended Ryerson University's Theatre School and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Corey Millen
Corey Eugene Millen (born March 30, 1964) is an American former professional ice hockey center. He played in the National Hockey League between 1990 and 1997 with five teams. Internationally he played for the American national team at several tournaments, including the 1984 and 1988 Winter Olympics. In 2020, he was named the head coach of the St. Cloud Norsemen in the North American Hockey League. Career NHL Millen played for the University of Minnesota after being selected by the New York Rangers in the 1982 NHL Entry Draft. Millen started his National Hockey League career with the Rangers in 1990 where he appeared in four games. He also played for the Los Angeles Kings, New Jersey Devils, Dallas Stars and Calgary Flames. Edward Millen
Edward Davis Millen (7 November 1860 – 14 September 1923) was an Australian journalist and politician who served as the first Minister for Repatriation. Millen emigrated to Australia from England around 1880 and established himself as a journalist, subsequently serving in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1894 to 1898, during which time he fiercely opposed the proposed Federation despite supporting the principle. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Council from 1899 until his election to the Australian Senate as a Free Trader from New South Wales at the first federal election in 1901. Millen led the conservative parties in the Senate from 1907 until shortly before his death in 1923. Floyd H. Millen (17 May 1919 – 18 May 1998) was an American politician. Millen was born on 17 May 1919 in Watertown, South Dakota. He raised three sons with his wife Betty Coffin, whom he married in 1942. They lived in Farmington, Iowa, and from 1970, in West Des Moines. Millen's political experience before election as a state representative included thirteen years with the Farmington Independent School District as president and director. He was elected to the Iowa House of Representatives nine times consecutively, serving as a member for District 2 from 1963 to 1971, a single two-year term for District 99, followed by a four-term tenure as the representative of District 87. At the start of his third term, Millen, a Republican, was elected majority leader. He subsequently served as speaker pro tempore during his fourth and fifth terms, followed by two terms as minority leader and his final term in office as speaker. Millen played 12 years in the National Football League for the Oakland and Los Angeles Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and Washington Redskins, playing on four Super Bowl-winning teams and winning a Super Bowl ring for each of the three franchises for which he played. After his playing career, Millen was president and chief executive officer of the Detroit Lions from 2001 until the 2008 NFL season.
