Royal Danish Arsenal Museum
The Danish War Museum (Danish language, Danish: Krigsmuseet) is a museum of military history and arms on Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. It is located in Christian IV's Arsenal (Danish: Tøjhuset), from which it takes its former name. On 1 July 2018, the name was changed from the Royal Danish Arsenal Museum ( da, Tøjhusmuseet) to The Danish War Museum, in order to make it easier for guest to discern the nature of the museum. History Tøjhuset was built from 1593 to 1604 as an arsenal, part of a new naval harbour constructed by Christian IV. It is 163 metres long and built around a central harbour basin. The building served as an arsenal well into the 19th century but already from the 1680s, it also housed historic collections. Defence And Garrison Museum
The Aalborg Defence and Garrison Museum ( da, Aalborg Forsvars- og Garnisonsmuseum, links=no) is a military museum in Aalborg, Denmark that covers all branches (except naval) of Danish defence organizations. History The museum is located in a seaplane hangar, built by German occupation forces during World War II. The German seaplane base Seefliegerhorst Aalborg was established there in 1940. Following the war, the hangar was used as a storage depot for equipment of the Danish Civil Defence Forces. In August 2001, the hangar was provided to the Garrison Historical Society of Aalborg for the creation of a military museum. The building was renovated and the museum opened on 22 June 2002. Danmarks Flymuseum
The Danmarks Flymuseum is a museum located at Stauning Vestjylland Airport, Stauning Airport in Stauning (village), Stauning, Denmark. It has a collection of around 70 aircraft from the period 1911 until 2000. Around 60 aircraft are on display. The collection includes gliders, fighter planes and helicopters. Many are still airworthy. The collection is considered part of Military museums in Denmark, Denmark's Air Force Museum as it hosts the collection of the Royal Danish Air Force. The Royal Danish Naval Museum (Danish: Orlogsmuseet) is a museum dedicated to the history of the Royal Danish Navy. The Sea War Museum Jutland is a war museum in Thyborøn, Jutland, Denmark. It was founded by Gert Normann Andersen and was opened on am 15 September 2015.
