The Military Band Service of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan (MBS-AFK) ( Kazakh: Қазақстан Республикасы Қарулы Күштерінің әскери оркестрі қызметі, ''Qazaqstan Respýblıkasy Qarýly Kúshteriniń áskeri orkestri qyzmeti''; Russian: Военный Оркестр Службы Вооруженных Сил Республики Казахстан) is a musical department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, which is responsible for the organization of military bands in the armed forces. It oversees the development of all the bands of the Kazakh Armed Forces, as well as provides training and guidance to these bands in their activities. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan ( kk, Қазақстан Республикасының Қарулы Күштері, , russian: Вооружённые силы Республики Казахстан) is the unified armed forces of Kazakhstan. It consists of three branches ( Ground Forces, Air Defense Forces, Naval Forces) as well as four independent formations ( Air Assault Forces, Special Forces, Rocket and Artillery Forces, Territorial Troops). Public duties are performed by military personnel, and usually have a ceremonial or historic significance rather than an overtly operational role. Armenia Since September 2018, the Honour Guard Battalion of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has been responsible for performing public duties at the President's Residence in Yerevan, the national capital.
