Milana Ramashova
Milana Maksimauna Ramashova ( be, Мілана Максімаўна Рамашова; born 12 September 2005) is a Belarusian figure skater. She is the 2020 Belarusian national silver medalist and a two-time Belarusian junior national champion (2019, 2020). She finished 12th at the 2020 World Junior Championships. Personal life Ramashova was born on 12 September 2005 in Byaroza to Lyudmila and Maksim Ramashov. Her father is a construction worker who used to play for FC Bereza-2010 and her mother was a competitive gymnast. Ramashova has an older brother who plays ice hockey. She has two cats, one of whom is named Button. Ramashova wants to be a skating coach in the future. 2019–20 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2019–20 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 23rd season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2019–20 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six from each discipline qualified for the 2019–20 Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final, which was held together with the senior final. Short Program (figure Skating)
The short program of figure skating is the first of two segments of competitions, skated before the free skating program. It lasts, for both senior and junior singles and pair skaters, 2 minutes and 40 seconds. In synchronized skating, for both juniors and seniors, the short program lasts 2 minutes and 50 seconds. Vocal music with lyrics is allowed for all disciplines since the 2014-2015 season. The short program for single skaters and for pair skaters consists of seven required elements, and there are six required elements for synchronized skaters. World Junior Figure Skating Championships
The World Junior Figure Skating Championships (''"World Juniors"'' or ''"Junior Worlds"'') is an annual figure skating competition sanctioned by the International Skating Union in which figure skaters within a designated age range compete for the title of World Junior champion. The ISU guidelines for junior eligibility have varied throughout the years – currently, skaters must be at least 13 years old but not yet 19 before the previous 1 July, except for men competing in pair skating and ice dancing where the age maximum is 21. The flip jump (also called the flip) is a figure skating jump. The International Skating Union (ISU) defines a flip jump as "a toe jump that takes off from a back inside edge and lands on the back outside edge of the opposite foot".Media Guide, p. 15 It is executed with assistance from the toe of the free foot.
