Milan Purović (; born 7 May 1985) is a Montenegro, Montenegrin retired Association football, footballer who played as a Forward (association football)#Centre-forward, centre forward. Club career Born in Podgorica, Titograd, Socialist Republic of Montenegro, Montenegro, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Purović made his professional debuts with FK Budućnost Podgorica. He then played for Red Star Belgrade from 2005 to 2007, alongside Nikola Žigić, with the Forward (association football)#Strikers, strikers standing at respectively 193 and 202 cm. Purović attracted interest from several clubs outside Serbia, and signed for Sporting Clube de Portugal in the summer of 2007. Podgorica (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Подгорица, ; Literal translation, lit. 'under the hill') is the Capital city, capital and List of cities and towns in Montenegro, largest city of Montenegro. The city was formerly known as Titograd (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Титоград, ) between 1946 and 1992—in the period that Montenegro formed, as the Socialist Republic of Montenegro in honour of Marshal of Yugoslavia, Marshal Josip Broz Tito. The 2009–10 Nemzeti Bajnokság I, also known as NB I, was the 108th season of top-tier football in Hungary. The league was officially named ''Soproni Liga'' for sponsorship reasons. The season began on 24 July 2009 and ended on 23 May 2010. Debrecen were the defending champions, and they defended their title. Promotion and relegation from 2008–09 BFC Siófok and Rákospalotai EAC finished the season in the last two places and thus were relegated to their respective NB II divisions. Siófok ended a two-year stint in Hungary's highest football league while Rákospalota were relegated after four years. The 2008–09 Süper Lig (also known as ''Turkcell Super League'' due to sponsoring reasons) was the fifty-first season since its establishment. It began on 22 August 2008 and ended on 31 May 2009. Galatasaray were the defending champions. Beşiktaş clinched the championship after winning at Denizlispor on the last matchday. The latter barely avoided relegation after finishing in a three-way tie on points with Gençlerbirliği and Konyaspor. Head-to-head comparison between those three teams eventually resulted in the demotion of Konyaspor, who joined Kocaelispor and Hacettepe on their way to the second-level First League. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), officially known as Spor Toto Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a Turkish professional league for association football clubs. It is the top-flight of the Turkish football league system and is run by the Turkish Football Federation. In the 2022–23 season, nineteen clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promoted from, and relegated to the 1. Lig. The season runs from August to May, with each club playing 36 matches. Matches are played Friday through Monday. The competition was initially established in 1923. The Primeira Liga (; English: Premier League, also written as Liga Portugal 1), also known as Liga Portugal Bwin for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of the Portuguese football league system. Nikola Žigić
Nikola Žigić ( sr-cyr, Никола Жигић, ; born 25 September 1980) is a Serbian former footballer who played as a centre forward. Žigić was born in Bačka Topola, in what was then SFR Yugoslavia. He began playing football as a youngster with AIK Bačka Topola, and scored 68 goals from 76 first-team matches over a three-year period in the third tier of Yugoslav football. Military service took him to Bar in 2001, where he was able to continue his goalscoring career with the local second-level club Mornar. A brief spell back in the third tier with Kolubara preceded his turning professional with First League side Red Star Belgrade in January 2003.
