Miki Furukawa
(born February 19, 1979) is a Japanese musician. From 1995 to 2005 she was the bass player and vocalist of the indie rock band Supercar. She released her first solo record in 2006. Biography Originating from Aomori Prefecture, Miki Furukawa placed an advertisement in a local magazine seeking fellow musicians in 1995, leading to the formation of the rock band Supercar. Supercar, which released its influential debut album '' Three Out Change'' in 1998, has been characterized as having "almost foundational importance to 21st century Japanese indie rock". After a successful, ten-year career, Supercar disbanded in 2005 in order for the members to pursue different interests. In 2006 Furukawa released her first solo album, ''Mirrors'', featuring a mixture of guitar-based rock songs and electronic dance-pop. Hachinohe, Aomori
is a city located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan. , the city had an estimated population of 221,459, and a population density of 725 persons per km2 in 96,092 households, making it Aomori Prefecture's second largest city by population. is a female Vocaloid character produced by AH-Software Co. Ltd for Vocaloid 2. Her voice is sampled from the Japanese female singer-songwriter, Miki Furukawa. Development SF-A2 was released on the same day as Kaai Yuki and Hiyama Kiyoteru as the 3rd Ah Software Vocaloid. SF-A2 miki's direction is very different from Kaai Yuki and Hiyama Kiyoteru as she was a professional vocal artist. Much of her planning and development was handled by HEARTFAST. Additional software Silhouettes for SF-A2 miki, along with the other Vocaloid vocals by AHS, were revealed on a poster on November 6, 2014. However, at the time, it remained unconfirmed as to what they were being used for. Its signal processing part was developed through a joint research project led by Kenmochi Hideki at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain, in 2000 and was not originally intended to be a full commercial project. Backed by the Yamaha Corporation, it developed the software into the commercial product "Vocaloid" that was released in 2004. The software enables users to synthesize "singing" by typing in lyrics and melody and also "speech" by typing in the script of the required words. It uses synthesizing technology with specially recorded vocals of voice actors or singers. To create a song, the user must input the melody and lyrics. A piano roll type interface is used to input the melody and the lyrics can be entered on each note.
